Well that's set the standard for all future MSRs. Attack after attack. And two of the most attacking riders in the peleton get their reward. Really pleased for Turgis. Hope he can take a monument one day.
Not sure which 2 you're talking about but I'd say all 3

Too bad Søren Kragh didn't follow Mohoric on the descent. I would have thought he would have the technical abilities to do so. But he was probably a bit gassed after such a violent attack.

A logical win for Mohoric. This is the monument that suits his characteristics as the world's best descender.

But I have to say it felt a bit anticlimactic as I prefer to see the strongest rider on the Poggio take the win. Also, the motor pacing was too much when Mohoric hit the Via Aurelia.

Not sure he was always benefiting. He almost ran up the back of it on one hairpin.
It certainly wasn't intentional motorpacing, at least not on the descent. No motors and no dropped chain, I think Mohoric still wins though, so without motorpacing we would have had the heartbreak of Mohoric losing a monument due to a mechanical in the final kilometre. It may actually be better this way.

Once again Roglić showed that he doesn't have the same endurance for monuments as Pogačar and that cost Van Aert the win today. Pogačar did a great race by the way beating Pedresen and Van Aert in the final sprint. Glad to see Van der Poel back with a podium.

This race has become a roll of the dice, i.e. there's nothing Roglic could do for WvA here that would have made more of a difference.

I don't even think WvA is guaranteed to win a bunch sprint against these other riders right now either.

? He hang on on Poggio, caught the front group and proceeded to school the 3 best riders in the world on the descent.
Motor sure did. Its a pedalling descent, ofcourse chasers are instantly giving up when they see what the hell is happening. Pogacar gifted the gap because ofcourse he does and then it was over.

He only won by 2 seconds, without motors he doesnt even have a gap at the end of the descent

Mohoric used a mtb drop seatpost, that helps on the descent.
Bahrain was perfect, Milan piloted them intilo the Cipressa perfectly and Caruso + Tratnik always stayed near the front before the Poggio.

Van der Poel not pulling on the descent after Pog sat up was the moment. Wout pulled between them, but if he was going to Mohoric was going to be caught, it would have meant VdP would have had to dig at that moment. Wout wasn't going t pull everyone to sprint by him. Most times I like VdP's racing, but not today.

I still haven't gotten my heartbeat back to normal, I was so frigging nervous. This race was absolutely insane.

I know it’s a long race, so it starts early, but Adam Blythe clearly didn’t have time this morning to comb his hair or put on a pair of socks. Or shoes that match his trousers.

Yes, I noticed that as well. He was probably just really tired though. Not easy to make the right decision.
