You think he wins without?
There 0 cycling merit. 100% of variance caused by the camera motor
What does this even mean?

Have you ever seen Mohoric race before today? This is the man who closed a 15-second gap from a group of about 10 others to the leaders on the descent of freaking Roche aux Faucons...He only won by 2 seconds, without motors he doesnt even have a gap at the end of the descent
No dropper postToo bad Søren Kragh didn't follow Mohoric on the descent. I would have thought he would have the technical abilities to do so. But he was probably a bit gassed after such a violent attack.
No one else could take those corners at that speed (or would be crazy enough to try). Moto doesn't help you with that.Motor sure did. Its a pedalling descent, ofcourse chasers are instantly giving up when they see what the hell is happening. Pogacar gifted the gap because ofcourse he does and then it was over.

Van der Poel not pulling on the descent after Pog sat up was the moment. Wout pulled between them, but if he was going to Mohoric was going to be caught, it would have meant VdP would have had to dig at that moment. Wout wasn't going t pull everyone to sprint by him. Most times I like VdP's racing, but not today.
Fair enough. It looked like he might have enough in the tank, but that's easy to say from my chair, not having ridden 293k...Yes, I noticed that as well. He was probably just really tired though. Not easy to make the right decision.
I think after today nobody will ever drill the Cipressa again. It was useless. UAE had nobody to rip the Poggio and then attacking early on the Poggio proves to be impossible if everyone wants to be on your wheel. Even being in the first 3 wheels for most of it is a waste of energy
Gotta love the yellow circle. Just in case you didn't catch it.A stuntman won

So in the past few years we've seen
2016: bunch sprint
2017: sprint of 3 strongest riders
2018: solo with attack on the Poggio
2019: reduced bunch sprint
2020: sprint a deux
2021: solo with attack on the flat
2022: solo with attack on the Poggio descent
Not an easy race to predict, despite 99% knowing that little will happen until the final 10km.
Or tuck his shirt in. Or notice that he had done up his top button without a tie.I know it’s a long race, so it starts early, but Adam Blythe clearly didn’t have time this morning to comb his hair or put on a pair of socks. Or shoes that match his trousers.
Because sometimes it works. It's MSR.I think after today, some will opt out of this monument altogether.
It's just pointless tbh for quite a few of the top riders. I can't see why Pog would attempt this when all that happens is the riders who get dragged up Poggio behind can then counter the group & in this case it was almost Anthony Turgis who wins.
As Blythe pointed out, the stretch between Cipressa and Poggio was played wrong. I'd agree with that.I think UAE had it the wrong way round
Formolo was one of the strongest in the race, maybe Ullisi to drill the Cipressa instead.
It was an awesome race though

Formolo can ride hard for an eternity and hanfmdles the distance well, but isn't able to make explosive attacks.I think UAE had it the wrong way round
