It’s instructive that even blasting up the Cipressa at a record setting pace, they still only had 10
Seconds on the 20-rider chase group. That was enough for them to stay away, but I think a difference in today’s peloton is that 2-d tier riders level is so much higher than they would have been in Colombo’s time. But if it’s Pog with 10 seconds maybe he could pull it off. Hope we’ll get to see for ourselves.
