The sooner the mods learn their lesson, the better. But the message just doesn't seem to be getting through to them.

Congratulations. You finally got the point we've been trying to make.
Even if someone occasionally breaks the rules, most of the time it does not need to result in a ban. Sure, some posts might be a bit disruptive, then just delete those.

But maybe the real question is; who is it that keeps reporting logic? Mods don't lie it wait, ready to pounce the moment they see someone break the rules, they don't have time for that. Whereas you, well... guess you were lucky nobody reported you for blatantly breaking the clinic-talk rules.
I didn't, because I'm sticking to my decision to not report anyone, unless they're spammers, or seriously wishing harm on people. Of course, I haven't actually seen the second.

I think maybe someone could benefit from remembering this rule, from the "please do" section:

  • Utilize “MRI” for Most Respectful Interpretation of a fellow member’s intent when reading their posts.

Pretty sure that the Most Respectful Interpretation of intent would be to assume that nobody would actually wish harm on anyone, so if you're unsure, they probably don't.

He clearly is back now. Back laughing.

Your comment was laughable, though. You're a much too serious and confrontatory poster for it to be suitable for you to come up with and the continue such juvenile nicknames of world-class riders.

Sure, Remco has problems with bike-handling, but there is no reason to belittle him with a mocking name. It only serves one purpose which is to piss off his fans.

I don't go around calling Van der Poel Dumbo because he isn't that good in the high mountains (I know that analogy is flawed because he can actually fly but I couldn't come up with a fat cartoon character on the fly).

What'd he call Remco, Crashco?

Dumbo, IIRC, was great in the high hills. Those big ears, flap em once and he was airborne. Wasn't Pantani Elefantino or something like that? Elephants and high hills have gone together since the days of Hannibal. Dumbo, that's a dumb nick. Thankfully there ain't no rules against dumb nicknames.

Winnie the pooh is a bit fat. Always has his hand in a honey pot.

When will be there be some extra moderators appointed? It's bad enough that there is only 1 active moderator, but the fact that that individual is also an extremely petty and subjective troll is flabbergasting. He possesses all the qualities a good moderator shouldn't have.

To be fair it’s hard doing everything by yourself for the most part for the last couple years. We definitely need more moderators but the question is who wants to put the time in.
