The sooner the mods learn their lesson, the better. But the message just doesn't seem to be getting through to them.
Congratulations. You finally got the point we've been trying to make.
Even if someone occasionally breaks the rules, most of the time it does not need to result in a ban. Sure, some posts might be a bit disruptive, then just delete those.
But maybe the real question is; who is it that keeps reporting logic? Mods don't lie it wait, ready to pounce the moment they see someone break the rules, they don't have time for that. Whereas you, well... guess you were lucky nobody reported you for blatantly breaking the clinic-talk rules.
I didn't, because I'm sticking to my decision to not report
anyone, unless they're spammers, or seriously wishing harm on people. Of course, I haven't actually seen the second.
I think maybe someone could benefit from remembering this rule, from the "please do" section:
- Utilize “MRI” for Most Respectful Interpretation of a fellow member’s intent when reading their posts.
Pretty sure that the Most Respectful Interpretation of intent would be to assume that nobody would actually wish harm on anyone, so if you're unsure, they probably don't.
