I suppose it would depend on the content of said thread.
A "[User Name] SUUUUCKZZZZ" thread would probably be frowned upon.

Perma-ban is when it says banned, and you can't visit the profile page. E.g. some of those in the intro-thread like @Yohan

Mod team, please do consider that if you haven't, he's been a valuable contributor in good standing for a long time. No idea what went on, so of course your judgement is more informed than mine. Yes that's a shame and I agree with you, good for you for sticking up for him. I recall Big Doopie from way back - 2011. I knew he could be provocative with the Contador fanboys. I am guessing he left them no choice.
