it did kind of come across as spam, actually... but Antoine Vayer is someone who's work i am interested in and respect.

i think it may have been a bit of the language barrier and such as it could have been phrased in a way that would have passed muster. pity, as it looks very interesting.

It's a bit sad, but when I miss a troll storm I actually feel like I missed an entertaining event. Not that all (or even most) trolling is entertaining. I think I selectively remember the truly crazy ones.

El - be nice. And that misquote isn't playing fair, imo. The thread got reported, but that only brought it to our attention. You all have complained, sometimes mightily, that we do not respond to your complaints, true? That is because sometimes we find the complaints to be baseless.

However, these complaints were pretty on target. On the other hand, this is an author who is respected by some of our community, and a topic that is of interest to many. So - I say again, somebody start a legit thread. It could be worthwhile for some in our community.
