Are we going to have rules regarding the rascality and shameless use of vulgarity that seemed to have stormed the PRR section? Thanks.
you know what would help? To report and ignore it, instead of starting to insult.

I hardly insulted him. And how can I ignore it, if it's just a matter of hours until another moronic, agressive and disturbing post is made by said person. I would ignore it if the person in question didn't hold the record for most bans ever, from which they return completely unchanged. My point is, Eshnar, the forum seems to have strict rules for many things, but when it comes to hurl insults out of the blue, on a constant basis, you pass the idea of not really caring. Again, this must be cassandra complex I'm feeling.

For your honour, never do that, BigMac. It's denouncement. Surely you don't want to be a police informant/nark. But I'm sure you realise that. :)

Well, I usually don't report. And even less do I come whine here, but some things just leave one baffled. Cheers.

Ah, so "douche canoe" is hardly an insult, according to you.
Totally legit and sensible.

Uhm, yes. Perhaps it would have been insulting if directed at someone else and out of nowhere. Insulting is saying one is drinking sour p!ss, insulting is not being able to engage in sensible discussion without being totally razed with verbal abuse. Calling Ryo a douche canoe was more of an observation of his posts, which are filled with douchebaggery (there, post, not the poster), than an actual attack. I am not the only one who feels this way, certainly. Or maybe I am and people are okay with it. But by all means, ignore the rest of the post. I guess this was never an issue anyway, and will never be.

please, do me a favor and drop this nonsense. An insult IS an insult. And an insult that responds to another insult is STILL an insult. With stricter rules you would be banned exactly like Ryo.

Then ban me. What exactly is your point? This place is totally lost and I don't have to tolerate this sort of crap, do as you please.

I for one am out of here, might consider coming back once some recycling is done.

BigMac! :( You really shouldn't take it so seriously, you know. I understand that ambient vulgarity repulses you but people aren't always as civil as you are. You are so kind and polite that you think everybody is as kind as you are. Human relationships are like that, you see. Irl it's the same, at least round where I live.
I'm sure you'll be back though. No doubt..

Cheers :)

I think it's unfair to consider BigMac "not adult enough". He's proved enough time to be incredibly mature for his age. I'm personally ashamed of who I was at age 17, really.

No, he's just too much idealistic, I think (and it's no negative criticism). You can see at his own prose/writing style why the attitude of some seem to irritate him. His posts are usually so rich in terms of vocabulary (and I don't think it's a way to show off, Flo :p), and so carefully pondered that he can't accept vulgarity. At least that's how I see it.

But lol this kid amazes me. "Acting like a troglodyte". Where the hell does he find such colloquials? :D

Also the "foes list", I've seen some stupid options on an Internet forum, but this one is beyond anything...

Will it ever be possible to have the New Posts button at subforum level? If I'm not paying close enough attention I sometimes click on a New Posts thread, end up in the clinic and think I've entered hell or something :)

Nah, you weren't in the clinic, just the Contador thread in the PRR section, where it's apparently permissible to post doping innuendo on a regular basis.

Can anyone explain how the thread on bike doping is a clinic subject? is it just to give those something to talk about?
How is putting motor in a bike anything to do with doping? adding the word doping does not make it so. It is a technical discussion, not a doping discussion and in fact it has nothing to do with human performance enhancement.
Caveat I despise the clinic.

Cuz ya know, it's cheating,

Yes it certainly is a hellhole over there. One must leave reason behind to enter willingly :D

I know why master hates the clinic - because he is one of like 2 people on the planet who actually believes Horner was clean :D
But I don't know why you are moaning about it, let alone suggesting it's devoid of reason. Considering the two riders you most vocally support are contador and Valverde it really is a bit of a headscratcher. You think they are clean, or just upset that people consider blood doping to be cheating and don't let riders who did it off the hook?

Good point. On this thread, I already found it very awkward to refer to "motorized doping" or stuff like that, the use of an electric engine inside a bike, at the moment of the rumour regarding Cancellara's bike at the 2010 Tour of Flanders.

It's as if doping & cheating were synonyms. I mean if a sprinters deviates from his line in a sprint, you talk about it in the clinic or PRR. It's absurd.

The purpose of the Clinic is to avoid having the PRR section filled with flame wars such as "rider X wins only because he's a doper" and stuff like that. In general, the PRR should be for those who enjoy the sport just as it appears. On the contrary, the Clinic is for the conspiracy theories, for the covert actions and all the stuff that would make race threads and fanboy threads totally unreadable. It's not only chemistry.

To quote Eshnar:

I have lived the longest, at age 64, then my siblings, who averaged 53 years on this earth. I am to old to waste what time I have left on earth reading the vortexing, conspiracy theories and general combative arguments that is the clinic. I prefer to ENJOY the sport as it appears on the road. It's really that simple. Same reason I refuse to respond to baiting in PRR, I don't have time to waste on arguments with people whose opinion I will never change :).

Humm I spent 10 minutes of the time I have left writing this.......

I think at this stage it is well established the sport is dirty through and through. Not a conspiracy, a simple fact.
