Do you mean to say that people are hounded by mods, or by other posters? Those are 2 very different claims.

We've witnessed in another thread that the policy is ban first and ask questions later. When the moderators respond actionably to reported posts with BPC as the sole reason, then it is isn't a stretch to say the moderation is shaping the overall opinion of the forum.

This is simply incorrect. I have not been banned for flaming and baiting. I have been banned for stating that Frankie Andreu may have committed perjury by saying Lance didn't dope. I'm afraid you won't be able to lie about that.

But you're not against flaming and baiting. You have NOT ONCE spoken out against the insulting and baiting behaviour towards Lance fans - the claims they are homosexuals, they are groupies, they are paid by public strategies and are Nazis. You've never spoken out against this, ever. Just imagine this - you're complaining about flaming a baiting but have never said a word against this? It's quite stunning hypocrisy.

But this is a caricature most of the time. Yes the forum has had a few people who don't believe Lance ever doped in recent days, as is expected why the tour is still hot, but most of the time this is not the case. The reason they hate me in particular - more than any of the guys that say Lance did not dope - is because I say he DID dope, I admit that doctor Ferrari did dope riders, and I doubt that LeMond did take testosterone shots. But I put it in context and stand up to the hopelessly simplistic tabloid, black and white, view that many here have. This is why I am intolerable.

I also break the forum omerta by standing up to the trolls like TFF, BroDeal, Race Radio, MooseKnuckles etc who really DO bait and flame all the time with impunity. God they hate that.

The other forums are a bit slower - there is more discussion here about races - and I enjoy speaking to people I disagree with and this is where the anti Armstrong crowd are based. They are banned from many other sites, you see.

Also you may have noticed that there has been a campaign of deceit about me on this site. If that was happening on another site then I would focus there also.

The fact that people don't like me because I disagree with them doesn't bother me in the least. One would have to be pretty thin skinned to allow that to be a reason to go away. It's not a dating site.

People wanted Simoeni to go away but that should not be a reason to go.

The reason you were originaly banned was (IIRC) you had a sockpuppet called 'ProTour' - and also as you continued to lie and misrepresent what posters say, as you again tried to do today.

You have found two posts of your thousands of contributions which are not even about trolling but the need for people to get over the polarisiation of the tour. You know this is not what I said.

This is wrong. I've NEVER had a user name called ProTour. What the hell is that about? You've never even said this before. My first name was The Arbiter and I was banned for saying Frankie Andreu had already commited perjury during SCA case, and suggested that this meant it wasn't that difficult to do the same about the hospital issue.

I am banned for being banned before. Ask Martin. That's why all my posts are removed without even being read by the mods - they don't look for baiting and trolling.

I'm just surprised the MODs complain of too much effort required to track down these rouge posters. Its easy, all new accounts must be moderated (post un-approved till a MOD checks it then if approved allowed to be viewed by all), this can be for the first 5 posts any user posts. Once they pass the five or X number of decent posts they become a regular posting member. Without that no account details required will help, anyone can lie in the account creation process and create a bogus e-mail account. This will raise the bar on effort to post an offensive post by any user, won't prevent it but it will raise the bar. I'm only assuming the power that be want to raise this bar? If not it will be business as usual around here.

My assumption is that the powers that be want more hits and the more random rouge users posting increase this and they won't give much credence to such a condition on new accounts.

Then, as I've said before if the MODs were to also ban the respondents to these rouge posts it would reduce the problem but instead the rouge poster is banned and the supposed good poster who responds and fans the flames is let go as if they did nothing, once both are banned things will get much better right away.

Yes I have read all of that thread before. It's funny. None of your posts criticise the endless trolling I have highlighted. They are just a friendly reminders to the in-crowd not to fall out. No, it was intolerable that someone dared stand up to the regular trolls that you openly support and have never criticsed, due to forum omerta, so you did what you are doing now by running to the mods to get them to reinvoke the original ban. You know very well how you and your friends would post pictures and ruin the threads to intimidate the mods into action. But even if I was involved in a bit of banter - the point is that goes on every day by the other side and you never criticise it. This is what I'm saying. One man's banter is another man's trolling.
