anything anyone want to add after the million of 2012 positives regarding russian athletes?

so yes, if you are russian there is extra 10000% chance that you are doped. any amazing performance by Russian, deservingly, it's unbelievable.

this doesn't mean USA and GB athletes don't dope, they do. But state organized doping ? that's only in Russia and few more other countries with democracy problems.

you can close this thread now, the bash that Russia receives is entirely deserved, it's not lame.

Why aren't the USA and GB athletes caught, suspended and sanctioned then? If you want all cheaters out of sport, then you have to get all cheaters out of the sport. The bashing is purely political at this point.

Even though that's a made up number, yes, you are right. And that's precisely the problem, that the athletes of a given nationality have a much bigger chance of getting caught. It's a sign that something is terribly wrong in the Anti-Doping agencies, unless you think ethnicity determines "propensity to cheat". I'm sure noone does, because it would be racist.

You mean by any athlete, regardless of nationality, don't you? Of course you do, you're not a racist, are you?

Not state organized doping. State organized doping-detection avoidance, that's the allegation. Mischaracterizations are not helpful, try to be precise, please.

that's only in Russia and few more other countries with democracy problems.
Not really, there's equally strong evidence regarding many other countries, curiously matching the most successful countries in athletics, Kenya, Jamaica, USA and other Western nations. Unless you want to argue the US and UK have democracy problems. You can make a case for it, I can accept that.

Naahhhh, we need it open, so that Russia bashers can express their thinking, and then their nonsense can be set straight, on the forum record.

I cannot recall this level of anti-Russian hysteria in sport even at the height of the cold war.

It's almost never stated as bluntly, but this is of course one of the key beliefs of the jingoistic fans that 'doubt' Russians or Easter Europeans or the Chinese but get angry when someone raises doubts about Sir Jason Kenny . They love the notion of dirty, lazy cheating foreigners vanquished with hard, honest work and innate superiority.

The same sort of reasoning shows up with former dopers. They are routinely deemed more likely to be doping now (or still benefiting from the effects of their old doping because Jingoistic Fan has heard of that one rat study), even if they pass all the tests. Remarkably, passing those tests cannot exonerate the former doper whilst simultaneously proving the clean hero to be clean.

Hajo now really aiming his guns at IOC and his countryman Thomas Bach (see his twitter feed)

It's clear that Hajo's work on Russia has triggered a lot of Lame Russia Bashing around the world.
But the way he is currently trying to expose the IOC and Bach as doping facilitators imo weakens the claim that Hajo's work is agenda-driven.

Of course I'd love to see him focus less on Russia/Kenya/China and more on USA/UK/Germany, but considering he's just a one-man task force, I think this really is the best/cleverest course of action for him.
