And another victory against cancer!

Interesting aside...does it irk you that he actually does something useful for society while you just sit on your *** and make snide comments...I really think it does!

Agree on part of your post, Conti's only challenger is daylight because that is how far the others are behind him. Now if Fabian lost 5kg that could be interesting. Doesn't say much for the others if the uniballer turns out to be his nearest challenger this year at tdf. The haters would hate that of course but if it wasn't for LA most of the fags on here wouldn't know how to spend their days or have anything to write about! Of course they could always go out and ride their bike...but I guess typing is a bit easier.

Hey man - I like Lance and all - but still I think not liking Lance doesn't necessarily make one a homosexual

Having seen someone close to me waste away and die from cancer last year, I can recognize much of what Berzin says in his post, and I like to think by myself that I helped the family in question by supporting them practically and in other ways. Also, call me what you want, but it is my idea that someone who helps a very small part of society is also, in a tiny amount, useful to society in a general sense.

But you, who seem to know me very well, obviously disagree.

I love how the fanboys always ascribe lack of riding to those of us who are not fans of The Uniballer. I sure have seen a lot of fat guys with USPS/Discovery jerseys riding Treks over the years. I also find it funny how many Treks are for sale on Craigslist, at least in my area, that include the words "barely ridden" or "only 200 miles" etc. Tons of them. TONS.

UHm bagster, please can you keep the swearing down a little. I have many gay friends and I really don't like the use of that word, implying that homosexuality is something wrong

I reported the post, and I feel fairly certain it will be edited or deleted. I hate the word.

One can always HOPE (rides again)
LA has had a great season so far, looks very fit unlike the ones racing in Europe.

I was reading an article on Bobby Jullich's TT training sessions with the Schleck Bros & the question was put on the table: Can Andy challenge AC? Bobby said AC is just at "a different level" & Andy can only "limit" his losses to him. Basso, Wiggo, Gesink, Nibali & many others have the same answer as well: -Alberto is a level above everyone-
based on that, we might have to wait 5 years and hope for a young talent with the same skills to challenge him, because so far, the current candidates seem to fall short..... (I hope i'm wrong for the sake of cycling)

Sorry if I offended your delicate sensibilities. I find the affront amusing though coming from you.

Sad then if what you say is true about someone close to you having suffered from cancer , that you could be so callous and flippant in your response.."another victory against cancer". I think that comment speaks more of the true you than your sympathy speech.

Just a comment on my use of the term "***". I did not utter it to be disrespectful to any particular minority. It is a term that has evolved somewhat. The younger generation in my country just use the term generically. It had no reference to any sexual proclivities in my use of the term.

Of course I also note that it would not in reality have offended thoughtless food and his ilk one bit, and that their response is just one of their small mined troll games that they use frequently against people to dare to have differing opinions. They freely use the term;'idiot' with no apparent concern towards the recipient of their vitriol but because it is them that is using the derogatory remark, then it's ok.

Pretty much how I saw it, hence I chose the youngest guy. I see Contador kind of like Armstrong in his day, but armstong had ullrich, who was more talented, just didn't do the prep. Where as there don't seem to be many around with the talent let alone the work ethic contador does. It could be a few years, unless Contador tries to over reach and win all 3 in a year or something.

Thank you hfer07 for getting us back in track. I also think your post nails the subject at hand. Even a rider like Andy is at best hoping AC has a bad day, like in the 2009 Paris-Nice. It's possible, yes.

I see on the distant horizon...a Spartacus warrior, slimmed down by 5kg (ok maybe 7kg)..smashing AC in the TT, going mano a mano with him in the hills as the others fall away. Yes Big Mig Mk2 rides again!!!:D
