With the Tour passing through Nice it was only a matter of time before some journalist went to see Motoman

Motoman should embrace his character and exploit it for a nice commercial boost and some comedy.

New FedEx spokesman.

"When it absolutely, _positively_ has to be there overnight."

"When a late deliver is the difference between winning and losing, accept no other deliverer. Motoman", then on the screen you see a dark rainy backdrop and a narrow twisty windy road and then Zooom, motoman darts by with his Motoman logo on the back of his jacket and seconds later you see a racecar/racebike/racebicycle race by.

I can think of three possible reasons why he has not:

1. Excessive shyness.
2. He still is in that line of work and wants/needs to remain inconspicuous for professional reasons.
3. He was in that line of work until recently enough still to be within the French statute of limitations.

Mr. Lafontaine was a voice actor who did lotsa film trailers.

And wrote them.

He's the stereotypical 'deep voice trailer guy' every person on earth has heard.
He invented all the cliches. 'In a world where....'. 'In a time when...' 'One man must...'

He also had script approval, charged $1500 per read (so "Out Now" "out tomorrow" would be $3000), did 17 bookings a day, never did more than 3 reads of a script, traveled to bookings in a chauffeured limo and olny got started in VO's because one day the talent failed to turn up. He started as a sound engineer. Check out "5 guys in a Limo" on youtube, which despite it's name is safe for work. :)

Motorman

Dont know if there has been a previous post about 'motorman' the infamous EPO motorbike man from Nice in the South of France..
Now that Mr Armstrong has named him as Phillippe Maire, who ownes a cycle shop near Nice..I wonder what the French Police will now do about this man as it is a very serious offence in France?
Also how Mr Maire's friends will be worried if he spills the beans as to his drug carrying activities??

Is there a statute of limitations? Does the offense carry substantial penalty such that the State will want to press charges? Did the crime occur within France's borders? Are there any witnesses willing to come forward for a French case?

I don't know the answers to these questions, but that's what I would think about if this happened in the U.S.

Wonderboy said it. Before that, it was USADA with an ax to grind, hating winners, or whatever.
