My favourite Kilmer performances were in Tombstone, Thunderheart and The Doors. Tombstone was an obvious classic and Thundeheart was very underrated.
The Batman (2022) three hours long but not boring. Good performance by Robert Pattinson with a different take on the lead role to Christian Bale. One of the better Batman movies but not as fast paced as the Bale movies. Also well acted by a good cast.
After Earth (2013) maybe should have been titled Wake Me Up When It's Over ! Another pedestrian M. Night. Shyamalan movie with terrible dialogue and performances . Just a dull Sci Fi movie. Shyamalan peaked with his first movie in the 90's with The Sixth Sense and never approached that standard again. Signs was probably his second best movie. A Will Smith vanity project that never rose above the mediocre.
Knock At The Cabin (2023) mid range movie from M. Night. Shyamalan. Not bad overall. The main idea in the movie will either irritate you or intrigue you. The acting was hit and miss.
No Time To Die (2021) pretty typical James Bond movie but not one of the better ones. Watchable with some good action scenes.

You'll Never Find Me (2023) slow burn Australian thriller. Very dialogue heavy with really only two characters in the entire movie. Maybe the ending didn't meet the standard of the rest of the movie and it was open to interpretation. Worth seeing if you don't mind slow movies. For the first time co-directors it was a good effort, especially the sound design which was very effective.. The two performances were also very good.
Dune : Part Two (2024) Visually good, the three hour run time didn't drag too much. Watchable and entertaining enough but not something I would rewatch. Not too bad but not one of my favourite Villeneuve movies.
Master Gardener (2023) A movie that started out in one direction then veered off into darker territory halfway through. Not a bad drama and well acted by by Joel Edgerton and Sigourney Weaver.
The Passenger (2023) well acted drama. Dark and sometimes unpredictable. Good film but may be too bleak for some. Two troubled young men and the choices they make.
The Sisters Brothers(2018) an offbeat western starring Joaquin Phoenix, John C.Reilly, Riz Ahmed and Jake Gyllenhaal. Very well acted with some great visuals. About two guns for hire that are supposed to do a routine job that turns into something more unpredictable. Worth watching.
Sicario (2015) One of Dennis Villeneuve's best movies. A bleak story about how governments are losing the battle against the drug cartels and corruption. The sound design and cinematography are top notch and Benicio del Toro steals every scene he is in.
Midsommar (2019) an unsettling horror/drama about some college students that travel to Sweden and become involved with a cult. A little on the long side but the final 40 minutes made it worthwhile. Some dark humour and impeccably made with a nice performance from Florence Pugh. Not your typical horror movie and all the better for it.
Smile 2 (2024) one for the horror fans. Great performance from Naomi Scott. Longer and flashier than the original but not quite as good. Not bad overall.
Anatomy Of A Murder (1959) one of the great courtroom dramas. Well directed by Otto Preminger and superbly acted by James Stewart, George C Scott, Lee Remick and Ben Gazzara. Nice soundtrack by Duke Ellington as well. A lengthy movie but never dull.
Pretty Poison (1968) Quirky cult film with good performances from Anthony Perkins, Tuesday Weld and John Randolph. A troubled young man gets involved with a teenage girl and things go pear shaped but not in an obvious way. All about how people manipulate each other and keep their true selves hidden. Entertaining movie with some twists.

It’s been awhile since I did my last review but Happy Gilmore 2 was definitely worth the watch. One of Sandler’s better more recent movies and had multiple good laughs. It wasn’t anything more than it tried to be and a great movie to just sit down and unwind. Way better than the astronaut with the spider movie he did a couple years ago.
Final Destination Bloodlines (2025) for fans of the franchise, one of the better installments. Entertaining horror movie that gives the fans the usual fare with a few tweaks to the formula..

8 million budget and so far only $26.8k in box office revenue is a huge flop.
Contagion (2011) One of Steven Soderbergh's best movies and very prescient predicting a future pandemic. Well acted with a good cast. Extra disturbing watching it again post the Covid outbreak. They pretty much nailed the reality of the actual pandemic in 2020.
Talk To Me (2022) effective low budget Australian horror movie starring a cast of unknowns except for Miranda Otto. For a first film from a young director or in this case co-director brothers it was pretty impressive and better than a lot of the usual horror movie offerings these days.

The Last Stop In Yuma County(2024) entertaining crime black comedy that keeps you guessing. Well acted and visually good.
Stalker (1979) if you like slow moving arthouse movies you might like it. Visually great and a lengthy running time. Tarkovsky didn't make entertainments. He made poetic, artistic movies that naturally were not for everyone. Interesting .

I am starting to really question if Richard Jenkins is the best American actor ever.. During bad weather came across Jack Reacher, Burn After Reading, Step Brothers and some movie were Ben Affleck wrongs Samuel L Jackson and now DTF St. Louis..
I am trying to remember ever not liking him.. He was in a movie..The Visitor.. a great love story.. And the actress, Hiam Abbass is absolutely amazing.this guy is in everything..
In Step Brothers when he watches his sailboat involved in an accident.. Classic stuff..

Yeah he's always good. First noticed him in TV series Six Feet Under. He was also very good in a more recent series called Olive Kitteridge.
Funny you mention Olive Kitteridge, HBO has been playing it a bit. Cool visual effects, like people are having a hallucination. Jenkins is an eternally optimistic pharmacist! Hunting accident scene is incredible. Frances McDormand seldom makes a bad movie, Fargo is one of my favorites
