tsk tsk sit down. I just watched him. Finish. He stopped, did a u-turn, and then had a casual chat with the guy in the car. I was watching for panting - there was none.

Check again.

Not that it means much in deciding if a rider is clean or not IMO.

Rider I'd have gender reallignment surgery to have his children: Quintana I guess, best chance of new supertalents. Not planning on this anytime soon though I must admit.

That's the idiotic thing with some of those clinic members. I'm perfectly willing to discuss Quintana doping, I'm willing to discuss anyone doping.

But if you argue against someone seeing something that isn't happening, it's like you're a ****ing holocaust denier.

FWIW I also think that he didn't look too out of breath when talking to that dude in the car.

minus points for the holocaust reference though

I never referenced the holocaust  Referencing a trait of people talking about the holocaust is something entirely different.

Anyway, thing is Quintana never looks out of breath even when he is. He has a smaller mouth than Aru :p But he was coughing and had to be catched by a Movistar after the finish et al, so I really don't see the talking point.

If you want to talk about his climbing time, go ahead. But this is simply talking about nothing.

I've done uphill TTs before. You don't want to chat to people. Maybe if my mouth was smaller.

I don't care if he was struggling to breathe at the finish, this Giro is being incredibly ridiculous overall.

Because he chatted for 3 hours straight.

Probably the only words were did I win and thanks or something. Look at the footage again. He leans to the car, DS tells him he won and they shake hands.

A year ago I climbed a 25km ~8% average mountain (Passo San Marco from the North if you don't believe me). I was completely spent near the end and I didn't pause once yet I was able to converse with a guy that caught up with me. In Italian.

Anyway I'm done here. Talked to much about this already because you went personal after you ran out of facts. Keep believing you're the tough clinic guy asking the important questions though.

Really, why? According to Vayer the numbers are kinda ok right? I think Quintana himself was more suspicious in the Tour last year.

Jealous haters! Movistar are cleans I tell you cleans!

Incase you didn't know they have a new bike that prevents cyclists panting at the end of tough stages/races.

yup today was mutant. And I dont understand how Quintana can peak and ride at the human limit in the 3rd week if he is cleans.

I don't think this panting out of breath should come into deciding if a rider is legit or not.

While we're at it, why don't we declare Roche a clean winner of the 87 Tour so.

As much as I am happy that Movistar are finally getting some attention in here , I think Quintana looked knackered after the stage. Coughing his guts out.

Logic fail. Just because being fresh after a MTT (for some) is evidence of doping, doesn't mean the opposite is evidence of cleanness.

Just like failing a test is evidence of doping, but not testing positive isn't evidence of cleanness.

Yeah a few performances looking a bit too good to be true. Obviously the testing is working !

That's assuming a weight of 70 kg. Since Quintana is much lighter, the actual W/kg is higher.
