Didn't realise Cherie Pridham was DS at Lotto now :openmouth: Used to see her quite a lot when she was boss of the Raleigh team here in Derby. Can't be too many female DS's at this level?

Full on bunchsprint. With 120 guys in that final is going to be a mess.

Race got ruined by 2 cm of snow.

New season and some things don't change. Trentin and Kron in a doomed break, while Turner tugs the peleton along behind.

Not really sure why Ineos are controlling this, they aren't winning a sprint in this field surely?

This is ridiculous indeed... No idea what they're doing. The only thing they know how to do is riding on the front of the bunch I guess..

Coquard, Meeus, Penhoet, ... all there.

Lotto must be wishing they'd let De Lie race this as well as tomorrow's race now. Would have been a near-guaranteed win. Couldn't have predicted it, of course.

Feels like there isn't a single team with a clear plan how they want to win this one.
probably cause noone expected that it was going to be a 100 man bunch going in to the last km. Briefings were done before the race got ruined.

Yes, feel you were being a bit harsh on Ineos. They don't have a team for this revised parcours, so all they could do was try and make it hard as possible. Lotto are presumably riding for Menten now? I'll be cheering for him.
