Before the vid loaded I thought for sure it would be Motley Crue, Poison, or Hanoi Rocks, haven't heard of Britney Fox. But the hair on all those guys back then all permed, teased up, and sprayed into position (anyone here use Aqua Net back in the 80s?
)... the hairband hair looks so stupid now I'd like to get some clippers and shave it off!Had a friend and neighbor years ago that tried to turn me on to this group, at the time it was way over my head. I needed music that was more obvious, simple, standard structure and not too far from pop that I was raised on.. I could never figure out why Led Zepplin or the Beatles were fans of this band, didn't see the intersection. Pretty sure that the lines converge w quality and detail..

I kinda feel that the complete refusal to commit to any one structure in this is part rebellion and part nihilistic apathy. I mean, Kristin was 17 when she wrote it. Wish that my similar existential desires to express myself with non-conformist structures could have been a tenth as powerful or as actually, you know, good.
