Since we're so heavy on the imagery, this one could possibly be the most famous punk rock photos ever taken. The Clash

Geez, I forgot about that photo. I remember seeing that everywhere. When the counter culture clothing started selling in LA I used to see that picture all over the place. The Clash was such a good band.

any of you Dutch guys familiar with the band Racoon? just discovered them, pretty good stuff

apart from that, also love the 90s teen angst grunge music: nirvana, pearl jam, stone temple pilots...good stuff

yup, I saw them a couple of times some years ago. They are from Utrecht IIRC. I always thought they would be the next big thing in the Netherlands, but somehow they never had their break through...

Others from the NL I like are Anne Soldaat, Alamo Race Track

Add Lucky Fonz the III

I saw Neil Young last weekend he played a charity gig with Sarah McLachlan and Sheryl Crow in our local park in West Vancouver. It was pretty cool...

And Neil was awsome - but anything but young! :)

Saw them at a festival last year. The singer pissed off a lot of people by saying: "Lenny Kravitz (headliner) can't come tonight, his ego won't fit on stage". :D

I got to see him at Hyde Park this year, he was awesome, agreed he looked anything but young. He can still rock though. I had to catch him this year as I don't think we will see him in the UK again. :(

also would like to throw in a vote for the late israel kamakawiwo'ole otherwise known as bruddah iz...there's nothing more relaxing than listening to a 600 pound hawaiian man play a ukulele and sing along...makes you feel like you are hundreds of miles away on the beach
