I like it. I kept hearing the Zeppelin (with Jason, no surprise there) and I found this, which is a sweet cover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Vvzunyq1WM&feature=related

I like the second song you posted particularly. I have always liked a driving bass stressing beats behind a solid riff like that. Nice stuff. I have always liked to see bass players singing too. Tough to do.

Thanks for posting.

Please tell me you aren't one of the headbanging, screamo loving, heavy metal listening people?

I don't know what screamo is, but it doesn't sound like something I would like. As for headbanging, I listened to my share of metal in the 80's. I still remember when my friend Jim got Metallica, Kill 'em all in 1983. It was an eye opening moment. But I kind of left metal a bit after that because I discovered the Dead Kennedys and the early Replacements albums (those are the vinyl discs needed needles and a turntable to listen to). Still, I never left metal completely. In fact my wife knows Kirk Hammett, so my son's first concert was a Metallica show with back stage passes, etc.

All that being said, please don't tell me someone who thinks Maroon 5 is music is trying to be critical of my musical tastes:D

Red Fang is stoner rock anyway...

I know a lot of ACDC but not this one  So I went ahead and punched myself. Although it sounds like more or less any other song of ACDC...

Whole lotta Rosie live

Live Wire

My two favorites. The sustained note that starts at 3:54 and lasts till 4:30 of Live Wire is just fantastic.
