Saw a live version of Baba O'Reilly by the Revivalists last night. Exceptional first time view. They channeled a bit of Allmans (two drummers, sax player) and Little Feat with their keyboard player sounding like Bill Payne.
Had only heard several radio hits but they were amazing.
Saw the Who live in early 70's after Who's Next came out. Unfortunate opening act was the Eagles singing "Witchy Woman". The fans cruelly ignored them.

It's a shame Keith Moon had to leave us so early. Guess the alien Masters of the Universe needed their drummer back home.

Never quite my thing. But an old friend has worked with him. I imagine it will, but how that aesthetic translates ( out of its socio-economy) may take awhile. This was extemporaneous, but there’s maybe a bit to say about 90s culture, economy and folkism.
