dead kennedy's are awesome :D what about bad brains? bad brains - I against I

No, I like Gorillaz :) Clint Eastwood is awesome :)

Something totally different: Alestorm - Sunk'n Norwegian

What about Lou Reed?

I must live a musically devoid area... never heard of 'dead Kennedy's', 'Bad brains', 'Alestorm', or 'Lou Reed'. The Alestorm track was cool. Not sure about the others yet.

I also liked the Clint Eastwood track by Gorillaz. Funny tho, the song has nothing to do with Clint Eastwood. Just has that cowboy western harmonica that makes you think, Ok, I see how they got that song title.

Alestorm, Bad Brains etc. are not that well known:p But it amazes me you don't know Lou Reed though... his best known song: Perfect Day

Berlin is by far and away Lou's best album.

But everybody loves his work with the VU, surely:

I think "Magic and Loss" is an unbelievable album and will ultimatelly be seen as his best in my opinion. It is also cool he is married to Laurie Anderson. She has some cool solo stuff but I love "This is the picture" with Peter Gabriel. "So" is such a top album.

I think we could start an entire debate on this - I was a VU and then Lou Reed fan from the first album, and I happen to think that Berlin was by some distance the worst thing he ever did. I either gave the album away, or threw it away, can't remember which as it was so long ago.

I agree with you about Sister Ray, though to be fair, that sound is not really everyone's cup of tea.;)

Either I really live in a music devoid area or I need to get out more. No, I have never heard of Lou or either of those tunes, Perfect Day or Vicious. But you two are making me fans of Lou Reed. Great stuff.
