Continental Ranking: Dominican Republic

Will hold their National Road Championship tomorrow (ITT was cancelled); Never mind that most of the more ranked riders are riding overseas at the moment, and will not/could not pay the cost of air fare in order to compete. Several riders come to mind: Rafa Merán & Euris Vidal (CRCA-Foundation); Augusto Sánchez & César Marte (GS Mengoni USA); Elvis Rodríguez, Stalin Quiterio, Anthony Rodríguez (Sumerville)......and I could name at least 25 more riders.....The race should be held between VIN/UCI 2.2 And the Military*Games, at the beginning of the year, when all the riders are present on home soil.....But for that you need a management team without conflict of interests.....Not a bunch of swindlers seeking to privatize public funds.....and the athletes? GONE....Can't talk, can't complaint.....(Military Omerta law)....Gimme' a break!!!!!!!!!!Insane...........
