Nice win for Blythe!
Tinkoff with quite a lot of national champions this year.
Yep. Poland x2 (Majka RR, Bodnar TT), Czech Republic (Kreuziger RR), Slovakia (J. Sagan RR), UK (Blythe RR).
Hope that they will work on a good and consistent jersey design for all the national champions.

I'm totally ready to complain about Contador being isolated while Majka and Kreuziger still being there

I wasn't able to see any races, but great win for Nizzolo in Italy! That must be his biggest career win for sure. I read that he chased down Brambilla for the win - sounds similar to his win in GP Gippingen a few weeks ago. Nice to see him get some wins. I am also happy for Gilbert, he is indestructable!

Cavendish had to do a lot of work pulling the break back though, slightly mugged in the end by Blythe, poor show from Fenn not really challenging after Peters did so much work
Not sure more could have been expected from Fenn.

Of course you are right, but Peters shouldn't have ridden the last lap on the front

Lol lol :D
Well; if the jerseys are similar to Trofimov's, it won't be hard to spot them

Norway RR:

1. Edvald Boasson Hagen (Dimension Data)
2. Alexander Kristoff (Katusha) +4
3. Kristoffer Halvorsen (Joker Byggtorget) samme tid
4. Sondre Holst Enger (IAM) s.t.
5. Herman Dahl (Sparebanken Sør) +5
6. Ole Forfang (Joker Byggtorget) +6
7. Truls Engen Korsæth (Joker Byggtorget) s.t
8. Anders Skaarseth (Joker Byggtorget) +14
9. Vegard Breen (Fortuneo-Vital Concept) s.t
10. Reidar Borgersen (Joker Byggtorget) +23

Exciting finish with plenty of attacks from Joker, IAM and Edvald on Kristoff in the end. Bystrøm managed to control most of them, but not Eddys tactical solo sprint on the last km.

Well, adding P. Sagan in his WC jersey to all the national champions they have now, Tinkoff may select a GT nine-man roster where the majority of riders are wearing different jerseys, other than standard team kit. This would be interesting to see, but a little bit confusing indeed.

Majka would probably be just following rather than helping Contador anyway.
They've still got a way to go before they reach the full Rabo-Liv Rainbow from 2014 - six riders, six different jerseys.

Arthur Vichot, hmm...

It's time to show something in the Ardennes Classics now. Because, y'know, you're a puncheur.

And of course with Contador in yellow too ;)

Witnessing the way he won today, I wonder why he doesn't call it quit on pure sprinting stages and instead become a classic hunter. He rode a marvellous race, very spot on, great instinct.
He could be a better Visconti style of rider instead of that mediocre sprinter he is.

Thrilled Kristoff didn't win. Thank you, Osvaldo.

Did you hear Nico's interview ....sounds like he wants out of SKY

Why would he want to stay unless they are offering him substantially more money than other teams? He went there with the intention of being a domestique at the Tour and having leadership at some other races. At this point he's not in the Tour squad and is further down the pecking order for leadership at other races than when he went there. He might have to take a pay cut to move to a team where he will play a more central role, but he's not at least yet content to be a career domestique like Deignan.

I do however hope that he doesn't end up somewhere where he'll be encouraged to start targeting a Tour top 10 or something similar. The world has enough of that kind of rider.

He will, that is if he can stay healthy. Very happy for him, after all he's been through. And he's FDJ, and he's Franc-Comtois. Cherries on my cake  .

Balaphilippe was the strongest, Gallopin is in great shape, two medals, that's not shabby. AG2R blew it, didn't play their cards well. And with only one 5-hour ride under his belt since the Dauphine, Tibopino showed great stamina. The French Dumoulin had a superb race. Nacer improved his street creds. And Kirby didn't talk about Reichenbach once :D . What else can we want?

Great course, great race, great day. A lot of positive, one week from, well, you know...

Watched the last 65K loved the circuit - the action was non stop. a little disappointed in Barguil. I always have high hopes for him and after Suisse thought he was on better form. I did not expect him to win just a little better showing

The end of the Astana Italian jersey is the best news possible.
Have you seen the Trek national champions jerseys lately?

is there more than one?

http://www.treksegafredo.com/team/riders/jack-bobridge

looks pretty good. I thought they moved on from those awful ones a few years ago

Yeah they have had some pretty good ones, like Zoidl's for example. Plus since they have an Italian co-sponsor and strong italian connection I think they will want to have one that sticks out
