Rich Eisen, Dan Patrick, and several other reporters agree Pederson is on the hot seat. They likely need to get to at least 10-7 to make the playoffs. That means they must go 10-4 the rest of the way. This week they play at Houston.

I'm not sure how they manage it, but outside of Pacheco and Hollywood Brown, the Chiefs have almost no one injured. Compare this to the Lions who have 12 guys on IR alone. The Rams, Steelers, and Dolphins have 11 on IR. This is after just three games.

I wasn't familiar with Greg Cook  - had to look him up. Too funny...a 5th OA pick that lasted a mere 5 seasons with the Bengals. One key difference though, they said Cook had to go work for UPS & actually earn a living. With Burrow's net worth @ $50m, a fate like that would never occur & Burrow could retire a very rich man. Lol

Sounds like Pederson is on the hot seat. Read Shad Khan's comments from August. Khan says this is the best Jaguars team assembled...ever. He says the expectations are to win...now. I'll predict: No playoffs...No Pederson.

An unbelievable amount injuries only a 4th into the season! Hargrave done for the year! Even the backup QBs are getting hammered: Skylar Thompson is all busted up with a rib injury & McDaniels may have to start the 3rd QB for Sunday. Herbert in a walking boot for his assortment of injuries. If he decides to play this week, he'll be out two of his starting linemen. And not looking on good on the progress of CMC's Achilles tendinitis:

Some are saying CMC will miss the season but it hasn't been confirmed by anyone. Shanahan is non committal as expected so far.

I like MNF on Channel 5 in the UK - certainly compared to any other NFL on TV in the UK. I only started watching it last year. Admittedly it is better when they have two "analysts" and last year they had Gregg Rosenthal on with MJD but so far no Gregg this season - don't know if that's a permanent change. What was it like back in 2008?

The NFL on Sky Sports (pay tv) has gone so badly downhill in recent years I find it unwatchable without the mute button but fortunately that's only required for the playoffs. For regular season Sky Sports also has Redzone in full so I watch that instead.

I had to google it up to remember the commentators names. It turns out Sky was my beloved broadcaster. I liked Nick Halling and Kevin Cadle.
I can't think who did the games for channel 5. I did like how the other night 5 had little, if any, advertisements as they used up their quota during the day.

What a sloppy game tonight, penalties, more injuries, and dominated by kickers.

Gardner Minshew's career stats are also better than Lawerence, and he's been tossed around the league.

The Giants receivers dropped catchable (some of them easy) passes tonight. Jones was unlucky, imo. The Giants could have and should have beaten the Cowboys.

The Jets are playing better than the Giants, but even at almost 41, Rodgers is better than a lot of the qb’s in this league. I actually had the Jets in the playoffs before the season started, if Rodgers stay healthy. They have a decent team.

Here's the latest:

A couple of months would take him to the week #12 /13 time period. Then you wonder what kind of shape he'll be in after that long of a layoff.

Most interesting games:

BUF@BAL - Maybe the game of the week. Bills have been the kings of September. But Ravens cannot afford to go 1-3.
MIN@GB - So far both teams have showed very tough D. Let's see how Darnold does here. It looks like Love will return. Fascinating game.
NO@ATL - An important game as this season develops. The winner will hold an upper hand, if temporarily so.
CIN@CAR - If the Bengals lose, they are done for the season. Lets see what Dalton really has.
JAX@HOU - Jags lose they are done. Houston won't roll over easily here, and I see them winning.
PHI@TB - Both teams showing solid play, and mistakes. I like the Bucs chances at home.
KC@LAC - I have a feeling Herbert will play, it won't matter, and the Chiefs will win big.
CLE@LV - Cripple bowl. Both teams missing many starters. Raiders missing two best players. Browns should win a low scoring game.

SEA@DET - Despite being banged up, I like the Lions to knock the Seahawks off the undefeated ranks.

Buffalo and the Vikings look like the best teams at the moment. Ravens looked a lot better last week cause they fed Henry the ball. Jags and Bengals look flat at the moment as do the 49ers who get Kittle and probably Deebo back at least but have now lost Hargrave for possibly the season on an under performing defense. If I was betting I wouldn't go near the Browns game ! Lions and Hawks might be a good one same with Tampa and Eagles. Cowboys have now lost Parsons with a high ankle. Won't help them any if he misses a few games.

Bengals get the win off a good offense game while their defense hung on.

Bucs with a good win over the Eagles.

Vikings dominated the Packers till they almost lost it all. On the other side Jets fall back to earth against the Broncos. It’ll be a fun game next week between Vikings and Jets.

Chiefs not looking good again but still getting the win. They have an insane streak of winning at their division rivals home stadium and I don’t think they’ve ever lost away. Bad injury for Rice and not how anyone wants him to miss games for his off the field issues.

Missed the Bronco game - they actually won? Nix throwing for only 60 yds? Rodgers must be terrible if he can only put up 9 pts when their defense held the Broncos to 10. Like I said before, injured or not, he's done & not the answer if the Jets expect to contend for a SB.

Dumpster fire in Jacksonville: 0-4! Lol. What's next? Bench Lawrence in favor of Mac Jones? Does Pederson get fired before season's end? Who would have thought that the next "Payton Manning" would be 0-4 with a team that the owner said is the best ever assembled. Un-believe-able.

And Herbert, a bust IMO, can't even beat the lethargic Chiefs at home who obviously didn't bring their best game to SoFi Stadium. But Mahomes & Chiefs refuse to lose. Good game by Worthy with 3 big catches - one for a score. Good running by Kareem Hunt & a couple of pass catches - he looks to be the primary back now over Steele & Perine. Costly victory for the Chiefs with Rice done with what appears to be a torn ACL:

Baalke's decision to pay Lawrence 60 mill will come back on him as well if this continues. He was close to being canned last season. Thought the 49ers would have picked up Hunt after CMC went down but the tradition continues it seems, of Kansas recycling unwanted players and making it work . Never got the hype about Herbert apart from his first season and he's always banged up.

The Hawks will be missing arguably their 3 best definsive linemen (if Mafe is listed as one and not an LB) and a starting linebacker. I expect the Lions to run all over them and win pretty easily (unless the Seattle offense is super explosive). But the injuries all sound short-term so an L here should not take the wind out of their sails.
