Sounds like Sanders wants to play for the Raiders. And you're right, he'll only go to teams that his daddy approves of. And just wait until the dog & pony shoe we'll see with his kid after the college season is over up to draft day. Sanders has already moved up to the top QB pick ahead of Ward, Ewers & Milroe (these are the only ones mention for the 1st rd so far). The scouts are doing their usual backflips & cartwheels over Sanders' potential in the NFL (similar to the hype heard on Trevor Lawrence as a "generational talent" with those crazy comparisons made to Payton Manning. Lol).

I live in Denver 25 miles from CU-Boulder. All I hear on the local sports media is "Shedeur this & Shedeur that" & "Coach Prime this & Coach Prime that." With whatever team he decides to go to, he should wear a Superman outfit & fly into the team's headquarters ready to save the franchise.

Irvin thinks Sanders would take the Cowboy's job if they draft his kid:

Yeah, and agents are always the BEST judge of talent....making money. They will cash in if they get close enough to a deal but it wouldn't surprise me if there isn't an LLC legal and talent affiliate of DS Promotional Enterprises (soon to be minted, no doubt) that will manage young Shedeur. Agents need not knock on the door.

Yes, the career of Shedeur will, no matter how good or bad he is, be a marketing cash cow for someone. If he does go to Vegas, and brings his dad with him as HC, the team might as well play home games at Circus, Circus down the street.
Circus Circus is an old venue. Too small for football and Deion's ego. They can install a calliope and a highwire for the really big games in that stadium.

If they want the Circus vibe, Trump Hotel is open. Otherwise there’s too much stuff on the strip, all these venues need to branch out to the outskirts of the city. Soon Vegas will be like LA with the city touching the surrounding small towns.

Just when I thought that PIT was building up to be one of the top teams, they L to one of the bottom teams.

Funny: Russ had just popped off a great run down the sidelines, PIT put Fields in for the next play and Kirk says "...Fields adds a running threat..." WTH was that that Russ just did Kirk? :)

Terrific game, and a great win for the Browns! Fun to watch, and great to see the fans stick around to the end. If Jimmy Haslem gets his way and convinces Brook Park (Cleveland) to build him a $2.4b dome, we'll never see great games like this in Cleveland again.
I think that there is something about a location out past Pepper Pike as well. My in-laws lived near Chagrin Falls and still own that house, my bro-in-law said something about a stadium out there in 2030.

Trump hotel is a very sad, architectural relic. It sits in a lonely parking lot by itself and many agree that, in a town filled with gaudy/crazy buildings that Trump hotel...whatever it is appears the most out of date. Scrape it and there still isn't enough space for Deion's self-image.

In Las Vegas this month.. few funny facts..used well known hotel reservations website, Circus Circus gets pretty consistent reviews for rooms that smell like smoke, or mold or both, many people at check can't tell if room was cleaned or bedding changed!! Rooms often for less than $40 bucks!!
Town is up in arms about what set up and new traffic patterns have caused to traffic for upcoming F1 race.
The city has Raider backing like few other places I have traveled, the black and silver and that silly pirate are from the California border and throughout Nevada!! Sanders and son will just be another loud addition to print money in a place that is famous for tossing money around. unlike Circus Circus which looks like best days were in the 70s, the new Raiders stadium is in your face awesome from the freeway and for a good surrounding distance, looks good from outside, and would houses collective family ego of Sanders2.
I loved watching last night!! Good team and bad team trading places in white out!! And turnovers and not protecting the ball pivotal!! Also enjoyed trying to see on field officials signal if ball went through the uprights because snow made it hard to tell on TV!!
During game super cool sales propaganda commercial about how to make up your mind between Pittsburgh or Cleveland, portrayal of both cities as desired destinations, Cleveland w average housing cost @$100,000!! I went on line to see what is for sale in Cleveland!! Sure enough there were single family homes for @$100k give or take!! Way way cheaper than Ensenada Mexico and a tenth of the price of average house in San Diego!!! And another dig..Cleveland has a pro baseball, football and basketball team!! Rock and Roll hall of fame!!! Fun game to watch in my opinion.. Russell Wilson playing younger than 35

If Russell could or was allowed to scramble more he was great at buying time for deeper passes. His moonshot passes give good defenders time to respond where his tight arc jobs were a work of art. He still throws those but not with the old confidence. Was surprised at how well Cleveland controlled the run game for the time I watched. I tuned out when Russ lofted an interception.....Sciatic corrected me. I was thinking of the game before!

PS: Circus Circus always smelled like that.

Bad timing for the 49ers. Purdy having trouble throwing at practice with a shoulder injury. Bosa couldn't practice, Williams couldn't practice. The one bright spot, they get Kittle back for the GB game.
He's now had an MRI on that shoulder that Lynch isn't releasing the results. Since it's his throwing shoulder, it doesn't sound good for Sunday. Either that or pain meds & play at less than 100%.

Wilson didn’t have an interception—if you’re talking about last night’s game.

Wow!...another high-1st rd bust! With the signing of Boyle, Jones was relegated to 4th string & was practicing as a safety on the scout team (doesn't get any worse than that. Lol). #6 OA pick & 2nd QB taken behind Murray in the 2019 draft (scouting report noted elite size, good football IQ, great accuracy & smooth touch passes). Only 2 playoff appearances in 6 seasons (1-1) & a pathetic 24-44-1 record. Bad luck these days if you're a QB with the last name of "Jones."

Several players on the Giants say Jones was the best QB on the team. But outside from a few good games, and a nice stretch in 2022 (where he also ran a fair amount), his career hasn't been very impressive. He's made plenty of highlight reels showing him missing wide open receivers or not seeing someone open. Or forcing the ball into a bad situations. His TD to INT ratio isn't very good. He's like a poor man's Derek Carr, who isn't exactly going to win an MVP himself. As I look around the league I can see the Cowboys, Jaguars, 49ers, Dolphins, or Raiders signing him within a week. Vegas may also work as his haircut isn't too different than Mark Davis! However, while Minshew has been just garbage, the Raiders are going to get Aiden O'Connell back in 2-3 weeks, and I'm almost 100% certain he will be named the starter for the rest of the season (and should have been from week 1).

Rex Ryan says he should be the next HC of the Jets! He's been on a few shows now talking it up, like he's the one guy who can see what's wrong, and quickly fix it, as he's the opposite of what they have now. Don't hire some coordinator, some unknown. Hire him, a Jet, to fix the Jets. He might have a point, maybe, for that team. He's also one of the few guys who is friends with Woody, and fans would love him (for a short period of time anyway). But... I liken Rex to Jon Gruden. Can he coach? Yes, of course. He also might have some good ideas, and motivate players to follow him, for a while. But at the same time, are either of these guys really the best guy out there to lead your team into the future? Or are they just ham fisted retreads who have also lost plenty of games and had bad seasons people forget about when looking into the past with rose tinted glasses?

Got the bad news today. Purdy out, Bosa out, Ward, Cowing and Givens out, Trent Williams game time decision. Nothing showed up on the MRI and he didn't know when he hurt it but it got worse when he cooled down . He took a few heavy hits and on one of the runs, he dived at the end and seemed to glance off a tackler. That might be where he hurt it. If they lose this game to GB their percentage to make the playoffs drops to about 10%. They have the Bills next week and the Lions later. Must win this week with Brandon Allen at QB ! Wouldn't be surprised to see Dobbs come on in the second half, at least he can run..........

The bombastic Rex Ryan has been campaigning hard for the job like he's running for political office or something. Has he lost his mind? He's getting up there in age (61) & hasn't coached in 9 yrs. And why would he want to give up his sweet "talking head" analyst job on ESPN making seven figures where he can discuss & debate football all day long in a nice, comfortable studio setting?

And he wasn't that great in his 6 seasons with the Jets: 46-50 with a couple of AFC championship game appearances...big deal (where's the SB title?). But he also had slick Mark Sanchez as his QB. He would have to obviously start over with a new QB as Rodgers has got to hang it up at the end of the season & quit embarrassing himself out there. But I guess whatever floats Ryan's boat. If he believes he can fly into the Jet's organization with his Superman outfit & save the day then go for it.
