Fields has just about reached Terrelle Pryor 2.0.

As to Warner, 2023 is the year the Niners should have won the SB. They lost Hufanga that year to a torn ACL. Then during the Super Bowl Dre Greenlaw tore his achilles jumping up and down on the sidelines of all things. The Warner/Greenlaw tandem were two of the best coverage LBs in the NFL.

Speaking of...Greenlaw should make his Broncos debut next week. Curious how he does on that already stacked defense. If Nix can start throwing with more consistency, the Broncos could really make a run.

As to the Raiders, there are so many holes that need filling: But Geno just looks washed. So if the Raiders finish about 4-13, they should have a high draft pick, and I hope they finally draft a QB for the future, even if that wasn't Pete Carroll's plan at 74.

I guess that loss to the Raiders did him in. Lol. Callahan was on walking on thin ice this season anyway after going 3-14 last year with Levis his starter for most of season.

I think Smith goes in that "underachiever" category? (not a bust by any means). As a very good mobile pocket passer at West Virginia & high 2nd rd pick, he just hasn't done enough in the winning category. He was terrible in his first 2 seasons with the Jets, but turned things around in Seattle with those 2 winning seasons in 2022 & 2024 throwing for over 4000 yds in each season with good passer ratings. But only one postseason appearance in those 2 seasons which was a "one & done." He's a disappointing 41-47 in career starts & currently listed as only a "Tier 3" QB.

I thought Cam Miller was the team's future QB? Brady offered some influence in the drafting of Miller stating he was very impressed with him. And I would think Brady knows (or should know) a thing or two about QB talent? Has Carroll ever addressed this as to what the future holds with Miller? Does he see a future starter there or just another low-drafted prospect fighting for a roster spot?

Agree about Greenlaw especially in the SB but Hufanga could be hit and miss. He featured in too many blown coverages and positionally he was bad. He wanted to be like his idol Palamalu but never had that sort of speed. Most fans were okay with him leaving but Greenlaw was a blow. He and Warner were a great tandem. But Hufanga was a great interview and most of the journalists loved him. They were also getting more turnovers when he was active. A bigger loss for the 49ers was losing Buckner to the Colts at his peak from the D line. Looks like Deebo made the right move as well, as he's playing much better for the Commanders than he did for the 49ers over the past season or more.
