I don't mind it, certainly there are worse.

Who exactly is in charge of designing the national kits?

Whoever it is needs to be fired, with the exception of Gilbert lots of them are just 3 small bands of the counties colors. What happened to the entire jersey being in the national colors?

Check out Gerrans' knicks. He has part of the new nationals kit on I guess.

Good spot. And with Suburu appearing on the side panel it appears they may have provided more than just vehicles. Did notice Suburu on some of the Aus Champ shorts....but there appeared to be 3 different versions of the GE shorts out on the road. Maybe samples to decide which looked best in the flesh.

Subaru maybe their sponsor as they would have had 'GreenEdge' on the leg panel if that was the team name.

Think there is some sort of relaunch tomorrow. web site is being updated and Phil Liggett mentioned seeing GreenEdge Launched tomorrow. Hopefully that will be the end of their strange drip feeding marketing policy to date

in fact tweeted earlier today

Our online store launch is nearly here. Visit http://www.coasttocoastcycling.com at 3PM (AEST) TOMORROW following the unveiling of our team kit.

It's not that I find it ugly. But I remmember sometimes during the last season, finding it hard to spot the stripes on Sagan. I guess that's one of the problems with minimalistic designs. Aerodynamic position, camera in front of you (or right angle) and the champion suddenly disappears. Not every viewer is Cassani-ish when it comes to identifying riders. Plus, the kit starts missing it's purpose, which is to note that there's a natuonal champion in there.

From an aesthetic point, the only minimalistic national kit that would surpass the full bodied version is the german one. That always looks classy with white and stripes, to me.

Now there was someone who understood that national champions should be easy to spot! :p

---

Eeh... BTW, does Rabo opt for the minimalistic look as well? Coz if they do I really don't hope Matti wins the Danish champs. Rabo colours + Danish colours = horrible combo!

I'm sure his kit with UnitedHealthcare will look as good and flashy.

Yes, but I'm not claiming I called it. It's on some dude/tte's blog, linked. It is the same minus the blue stripe.
