I am amazed that Brialsford has let this step backwards go ahead: maybe they are going to tone it down for 13 right enough

I didn't think you were allowed to change design mid season (apart from lesser sponcer names?)

I thought for a minute Wiggins had a fashion line with Paul Smith, but it was Fred Perry. Not a million miles away though - Mods and all that.

According to the rules, you can have a special kit for one race a year no matter if there is a change in sponsor lineup or not. It's up to the team, which race they choose and when.

Sky improved? Are you kidding??
All that black just soaks up the heat, whereas white reflects some of it out.
Sky 10 suffered like dogs in the Tour (I think it was one of the hottest on record). In 11 Bradley had to win the national champs just so he could wear a whiter shirt. By 12, they had included more white so he didn't need to upset his training progamme and ride the nationals.

They had the white back in 2010, they suffered because they made a mess of their preparation, not because the jersey was too black. Caisse d'Epargne managed to do alright in their black jersey, not just at the Tour either. Pereiro won the Tour and Valverde the Vuelta for them, and southern Spain in early September isn't a laughing matter in all black clothing.

The jersey looks way better because that white back was hideous.

Its a white t-shirt with a couple of sponsor names on it. Perhaps Smith's wife added the pink bit at the bottom at some point in the process. Dunno, but its all in the brand name anyway.

not impressed at all- I thought last year's maglias designed by D&G were stupendous-these ones to me looked so blunt

Idk I think I like it better than last year's. I'm kind of glad they got rid of the black, although this one could certainly do with a little more colour as well. It is true in this picture it looks kind of weird but up close I like it better:

It will certainly be easy to spot in the peloton!

I kinda like that new Shack jersey. Got a tiny resemblance to the old CSC jersey. Would be better if they removed the Leopard turquoise colour though.
