Will never be a fan of the colour scheme, but these guys are easy to identify.

being asymmetric will make them even easier to identify, like when you put your socks on at the wrong angle and they're all twisted.

As for the Blanco kit, it seems that it looks several times better if a rider is a former Dutch national champion, as it adds a modicum of interest. Still, any national champions they get can at least get a nice, clean, classic champions' kit, hopefully, not one of those Radioshack/Movistar monstrosities.

yep, Luxembourg must feel like being wiped off earth. Personally ok with the base line Movistar, although it does remind me of a corporate suit issued for the Mobile World Congress.

I'm not complaining about the standard Movistar kits, more about the chronically bad National Champion kits they produced in 2011 and 2012.

Business > Country

Yes, but at the same time, we're talking a Spanish national champion's kit here. The national champions tend to stand out from above more than the ever-increasing amorphous blob of black, white and blue. You might have been able to recognise the Caisse d'Epargne logo on riders from above, but you would ALWAYS see the Caisse d'Epargne Spanish champion's kit, because it was visible from space.

Also, I tend to zone out a lot of bland jerseys in bland péloton shots on boring stages, but a jersey I don't recognise I will pay more attention to, to try to work out what it is, and then why I don't recognise it (ie who are they riding for that has produced this kit I don't get?).

See, this is why I don't get the fad for corporate identity kits. Sure, the Sky-alikes and Leopard-alikes look good in corporate promo shots, but ultimately this is a cycling team, and we need to be able to identify them in the péloton. This is why Lampre have better kits than Sky, always have done and probably always will. Sky can easily be confused for a multitude of other teams from a distance overhead shot - Lampre will always be spotted, which also makes it easier for the commentator to keep mentioning them too. See also old Liquigas kits, Euskaltel and Relax-GAM.

If Armani was sponsoring the Italian team, it would probably not be identifiable from the heli shot, but I hear you. Most of the design work is probably outsourced to Cos with very little idea about how the sport works, however they have designed 100s of corporate suits.

Thought I'd let everyone know that I have received a PM from a person going by the username pressofficecannondale saying that this is a fake graphic. They are asking not to "created confusion among the fans with false pictures."

So one of the teams employees trawls the internet and forums and sends messages to everybody with wrong information. Off season indeed.

No more ugly green? That would be great :D

I have never seen any green on the Jerseys of Team Vacansoleil, but the ones they had on Il Lombardia was really great... for those who doesn´t know how they looked, exchange the blue to Celeste ;-D

Sort of like Vaughters, but he doesn't do it in PM. And all season long.
