What about Paris-Nice, Dauphine and any other race where the leaders jersey is yellow?

The article doesn't mention it, what did Saunier Duval and Once in those races? Anyway the kit is not that yellow compared to the kits of Saunier Duval and Once.

Good Jerseys. They stand out, they are fugly, they got balls (sorry).
Fits in the tradition of Lampre, Europcar, Liquigas, Fasa Bortolo, Euskaltel, even Lotto.
All so much better than Sky, Garmin or Quickstep.

Indeee. Doesn't look good, but it's great to have in the bunch. Lampre might be ugly too, but. I love that kit.

Best thread of the off season.

I like Lotto's look like I like the TDF route. Not what it should be, but I think it will play out just fine. A missing picture is the back, a huge piece of trying to identify riders on TV.

Yeh i want to see the back as well.

Apparently in those races a team having yellow team kit isn't an issue. Remember in one of the earlier races where Contador at one point had the leaders jersey. Only one Tinkoff rider look majorily different from the others: Mørkøv!

I raised that in relation to Tinkoff's kit change for the Tour: the response was that the UCI only allow a team to change for one race a year.

Given that ASO run several of the other yellow leader's jersey races, this pretty much proves that they are not bothered about clarity for the viewer, but protecting their image. They can't stop a WT team from being in a WT event, so I'd rather the teams ignore them and turn up in the brand colours of the sponsors who pay their bills.

If I recall correctly, Saunier Duval had a mostly white Tour kit with yellow accents here and there. Once, of course, used pink shirts for the Tour. For some reason, I'd like to see LottoNL do the same. They probably won't, though.

Tour kit 2005 wasnt much different to the regular kit, just white shoulders added

ONCE wore pink in later tours, but in 1998 wore black..

Would have rather seen more white on the back. Yellow back, black letters, black lower back, it will be hard to spot the difference between them and Tinkoff from the heli. And honestly, I'd rather not see the Rabo fail train in the back and panic, thinking it's Tinkoff.

Tinkoff's kit might change though, since theirs hasn't been released yet. Hopefully the big bold letters of Lotto will be easy enough to spot, like the lime green Movistar logo.

Yeah exactly. Just like when we used to easily spot the ONCE logo back in the time.

Are they switching to yellow again? Else you are confused with their 2013 jersey.
Yeah I was thinking of the 2013 jersey but that's because the team's colours are still black and yellow, so there may still be potential for two similar kits in the near future. At least MTN are only Pro Conti for now so they won't have too many overlapping races.
