Green Argyle dreadfully disappointing...bleech actually. I have always liked the Garmin jerseys but this one just doesn't cut it for me.

Only one that I like this year so far is Tinkoff, but last years was better. Thank goodness there is no black on it!

Astana is the same? I like colorful, easy to spot jerseys!

There are jerseys I prefer more as jerseys - IAM is actually quite tasteful. But I'm no fan of argyle on or off the bike and this is just a bit non-entity. But too many don't stand out on the road, at a glance in the peloton.

I prefered Tinkoff's 2014 Tour effort, the blue is less appealing to me. But god bless it for not being black in any way. IT's certainly the best of the peloton for being easily visible….even in dense fog, I'll bet!

Stand-out jersey so far this year definitely Tinkoff's Camu. training kit.

A bit off topic, but no sram in the PT this year? And only 4 campy?

Some serious Japanese dominance.

The shoulders are really not well designed. Look how empty they are and how odd the Cannondale logo looks

Pretty nondescript, though with the red accents marginally better than I thought. They look less like 30's gangsters, not sure if that's good or bad.

The bikes look great, apart from the Trek part....

This is too ugly to wear, and too black to be recognizable.

They had better have some bright Cannondale green gilets so that we can recognise them in the early season.

What makes you think that they would not be recognisable? Green shoulders and helmet will be perfect for that purpose, no?

The dark kit - greenish helmet combination can be similar to Movistar, but there should be enough of Cannondale green to tell the difference.

Shockingly bad. Maybe they're trying to out-do Trek. Argyle insistence has always destroyed their kit imo. I don't see the point of it. It means nothing to anyone other than Vaughters and his golf jumpers!

I find the kit of garmin cannondale really nice. Nice enough actually that i am contemplating buying it to ride in. Would be my only team kit besides the steppers (which i do have for fanboy reasons)

Overall the field isn't as bad as feared. Sure a bit too much black, but the majority of blackish kits are rather solid in isolation (Trek, Garmin, Sky). Only Giant I find really meh. For the rest the others (Astana, AG2R, FDJ, etc...) will be clearly identifiable, which is the key.

So far my favorite by far remains the classic Lotto-Soudal with their lovely bikes as well. They might be going full hipster with such a throwback look, but I find it gorgeous.

To me there is only one genuinely horrible kit (Katusha) and few meh (Quickstep, Lampre, Giant). overall the rest are all decent to good. Not a bad crop at all.

Trek kit together with the red bike really looks great, for a photoshoot. Too bland though, but it's an ok kit.

Allthough I like previous garmin kits over the current one they will be easily recognizable. Just like Belkin was last year.

Trek could have gone full white, and come away with a little more character, Cervelo-Style.

Sure, it's boring, but there is boring in a good way and boring in a bad way.
Completely agreed, a full white would stand out way better in the dark peloton we have these days.

I think the argyle identity is brilliant, it's a bit quirky and nerdy, which seems to be exactly the identity they're trying to convey. And as hrotha says, they're the only team to have an identity which isn't linked to its sponsor.

Actually, Trek team is arguably trying to acheive something similar with their stripes. Likewise not directly linked to Trek bike company, if I'm right.

I'd sooner ask where the green comes from? I thought Cannondale only adopted it as a remnant from the Liquigas days.

I guess they keep the green until the momentum lasts. Sooner or later they will abandon it, provided they find some other colour which they can use as a brand differentiator with comparable success.
