is boring.
but what about the contracts until the end of the year?
Martin and other new riders have given a good pose ...
Alright jersey. Not the best, but not the worst. Kochetkov's national jersey is terrible. Took me a while to work out where the red of the Russian flag was, but it is the same as the Alpecin red

Weird, the Russian flag seemed pretty obvious and downright clever.
I look at it and see the white and the blue. Then the red is just part of the surrounding red. Yes it's clever, but it's not how a national jersey should look.

I would want to know what Tony Martin's german TT champ skinsuit would look like, if he wasn't the world champ.

I'll stop my self from getting to complacent about the champs jerseys as this isn't the right thread for that, but I do believe this is a good jersey that should stand out. I prefer the darker red though for the whole jersey apart from the Alpecin logo.

How did Ricco' manage to seek black in there?

Fds meu. :D

Color blindness.

But in the video it seemed darker. Now it seems kind of red to me. But still ugly, the Alpecin logo is too big in the chest imo. Katusha still far from the 2009 design.

And now that I think of, it reminds me of this. Ugly design in 2010, ugly design in 2017.

Cheers mate. No offence meant.

Was that a morbid joke I didn't get?

Savage.

If this is a reference to Guybrush's post about Bahrain riders not being allowed to wear the jerseys, then no, it isn't - there's a rule that states riders aren't allowed to wear another team's kit (or use another team's bike). All Bahrain's riders are obviously still under contract until next year ticks around, so they'll have to use a mannequin.

Aight, thanks for the explanation. The bolded ''hanging'' left me wondering.

No problem, I'm not easily offended. :D

The AquaBlue looks great, but it will really blend in with Movistar and all the black kits like Sky, etc.

I suppose it is an optical illusion, but Fuglsang looks like Ullrich and Cavendish after Christmas.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. He looks fat.
Of course "fat" for a bike rider is just normal for everyone else.

Uh, as an America I'd have to say "fat" for a cyclist means in better shape than 98% of the population :D

Yet another kit designed to be noticeable in a stylish corporate launch in a studio, not to be noticeable from a helicam on a rainy day in Flanders.

Does it look pretty good? Yes.

Do I still prefer CSF-Navigare? Definitely.

I suspect that they are prioritising kit and merchandise sales, and so looking good on an individual is more important than visibility from a helicopter on a rainy day in Flanders. Same reason the design is "clean" in terms of sponsor names and logos. Not having the main sponsor name on the front of the jersey at all would be enough to give Savio an apoplexy.

That said, gold on navy is an unusual combination. It may turn out to be more easily distinguished than other dark blue or black designs because of the giant gold arrow things on the front and back.

+1 with Aquablue we aren't actually talking about a jersey that will be seen a lot on races with TVs on... So they might as well focus on a nice looking kit you may sell rather than on a kit that is visible in races.

Great jersey as always.

Come to think of it, lots of red kits next year. Lotto and Cofidis were the usual suspects, last year Katusha jumped in (coming from white-red) and this year also Bahrein-Merida. Though I don't know if the back of that jersey is already known.

There's also BMC and Androni.

There's enough blue, black, red and green. I want some team to embrace the yellow love.

The peloton could definitely use some more purple as well. Or orange now that Euskaltel and Rabobank are long gone (the horrible CCC jersey does not count).

BMC too, but they have quite a bit of black too. Pretty easy to spot from every angle imo.

Androni, right, didn't even know which jersey they had last year :)
