Not all sponsor logos are equal.
For example riding around with BOSS on the shirt sleeve like that adds a certain je ne sais quoi fashion credential.

I've seen this question elsewhere as well, i.e. this isn't a Tour makeover like other teams do with a special one time jersey, this is a literal team rebranding.
It's Red Bull for life now. Everyone else on the team (aka those who aren't in the TdF squad) got their new kit as well.
He can land on Wout van Aert & then claim he thought he was a teammate.

It looks black to me.
It doesn't look like any other team's color.
But black jerseys in France in July... Fortunately, France doesn't look too hot this year.
I'm never convinced about how much difference that makes, but they'd be using those climbers jerseys which are ultra thin anyway if it got too hot.

The color of the jersey has never seemed like a problem for Ineos.
Or US Postal. I'm sure there are other examples as well.
I can't remember which race it was but one of the competition leaders jerseys was all black, didn't seem to bother anyone.

At least they use capital Ls: when that co-sponsor was first revealed I was at a loss as to how anyone was meant to pronounce aiuia (although my sister in law teaches Irish, so I'm mainly just relieved that I don't have a niece with that letter combination in her name)
