Froome goes to Astana bus, everybody wonders why Nibali apologizes to him

here is why

Ned Boulting ‏@nedboulting 5m5 minutes ago
For those asking why the apology...Nibali through a bidon at Froome. A case of mistaken identity.

another piece of the puzzle portrait of the most ugliest doper in cycling, ever

Armstrong is a saint compared to Nibali

Absurd. Just patently absurd.

Nibali is a true gentleman of the sport. He is probably annoyed that he has to share to road with a weirdo like Froome.

Sure, but only from one viewpoint. From another it's a confirmation of the anglophone bias - the implied part in sky tears' post being that Armstrong at least had the decency to speak english.

Go Nibali! hopefully he will make some crazy attacks that will make Froomes SRM go into error mode.

And when he passes Froome he should smack him on the head with the bidon. Today he missed.

Saint Christopher "I-Stole-Rabbits-From-Children-And-Fed-Them-To-My-Snake" Froome has got the Sky PR team working overtime here to get the Anglophiles up in arms for nothing again.

$100 on Vincenzo to paste the Dawg in a 1 on 1

i can't see that stick insect Froome being able to generate any power with that masciated upper body of his.....sure, he has the reach, but Nibbles is Sicilian and will def have some dirty, back alley street fighting moves to end Froome with

Why are you devoting any thought to potential hypocrisy? There was a crash today. Tony got hurt. Shouldn't we instead by talking about that?

He is in good shape, but you need luck in a GT, especially in le Tour.

C'mon, do you really believe this? Half his team were busted for doping, and he didn't know or do them himself? I find it highly unlikely he didn't dope.

I'm just about giving him the benefit of the doubt as there does seem to be a degree of segregation between the Kazakh side of the team where all the doping busts were and the Italian side of the team.

Hahahaha!!
coz Nibs n Aru are cleans, I tell ya! cleans!

the only difference is in the Italian's ability not to get caught. They've been at it longer, is all.
And they've the No.1 doping doc, who [allegedly] hasn't been near the team at all ;) ;)

The Italian side of things at liquigas however was dirty as hell.

Personally, I find the idea that Astana were doping their domestiques but the tdf winner who was pushing epo outputs was clean, to be laughable.

The mistake is telling of where cycling is in the UK anyway. The guy was an itv tea boy and became the interviewer for football players. Then when itv got tdf rights they were like - why waste money hiring someone pro for the job. Let's just send someone who people might recognise from football who knows nothing about cycling.

Guy didn't know what a wheel was. But got to show his face on tv and now he's considered some sort of expert and even has a cycling column.

I don't think Astana were doping the riders, they just weren't doing much/anything to stop the riders doping. So pleased to have some local riders able to live in the World Tour that they didn't want to look too closely. Could be wrong, could be wrong. Just think that the days of team organised doping are gone.

Pushing EPO outputs? I've never found any of the performance based "evidence" convincing, what exactly is the maximum output you think a clean Nibali could put out?
