That is probably true. Lutsenko's name was heard quite a bit but he wasn't seen on camera very often as he was usually between groups in the mountains when the attacks started.The biggest ninja of the Tour to me was Lutsenko, especially considering the kind of rider he normally is.
The only times I remember watching him on TV was when he very slowly dropped from the main contenders group.
I can't think of a rider who's an exception to that. Maybe Dan Martin constantly attacking to try and pick up seconds in the final km.Lutsenko was more fun as stage hunter than he is as GC rider
