Jessie doesn't have it today.

Peacock in the US ran two separate sets of commercials during the race; greedy effing pigs, unreal. Didn't see what happened to Kahara, ouch; I was really rooting for Finland to medal.

Man, Kähära really collapsed on the final lap, is she ok?
Fähndrich put up a huge fight.
Heard nothing about Kähära yet, Fähndrich was awesome for sure, fun to see.

Non-Norway men racing for Silver and Bronze; France really lucky the pace isn't high.

edit: Wow for the USA, couple of really good guys. Looks like I was wrong about Schumi on the anchor. Great result!

Women's podium

-Sweden
-Switzerland
-Germany

Men's podium

-Norway
-USA
-Italy

Sweden dominating in the women's as expected. Big result for Switzerland too and Germany keeps the tradition of winning medals in the team sprint by narrowly beating Norway for bronze.

10th career OL gold for Klæbo as expected after Norway win in the men's despite a good fight from the USA. Italy getting another bronze medal in team events. Big result for the UK coming 5th here behind Switzerland.

Well, it's quite impressive that Finland managed to line up Jasmi Joensuu for a sprint event, and wound up expending too much energy too soon to capitulate at the end and falling over, but it wasn't Joensuu that did it considering those are two of her calling cards. I'm really pleased for Coletta Rydzek to win a medal too, yes her brother is competing in a much more undersubscribed sport but the fact Johannes has amassed a huge collection of World and Olympic medals including multiple golds in both while her cupboard remained bare since the Junior World Championships nearly a decade ago makes it sweet that she finally gets a medal of her own, and she's had a great season all told.

The men's race, well, the less said about that pathetic, sorry "spectacle" the better. Having just been so positive about Rydzek getting a medal in the women's race, the men turned up and reminded us just how worthless this ridiculous format is and what little esteem it should be held in. May as well have hung the medal around Klæbo's neck before they started and held a 200m drag race for silver. Made the miserable track stand festival of a Team Sprint at Oberstdorf a few years ago look like an epic.
