Bump so that moronic threads like those titled "Confused" and "landis" do not fulfill their purpose of pushing real threads to the second page.

When he tries to plead the 5th after he answers a subpoena, those clients might dry up.

Just noticed on his twitter that he says he's Olympic Gold Medalist. Part of a plea deal for him may be to surrender his Gold Medal like Marion Jones.

He'll talk.

Any lawyers here. Can you take 5th amndment on a grand jury proceeding?

yeah, hours ago...

gosh, what a surprise that she does not recall...she is the mother of a few of his kids...

Well, sorry, but I actually don't find it surprising at all that she really wouldn't recall, besides what you mentioned. I highly doubt Kristin Armstrong was keeping notes ten years ago on what Lance and his teammates were doing even if she were in the room.

"Right, I remember that fateful day on such and such date, when Lance looked at Floyd, dead in the eye... and handed him the box of EPO. Floyd took it. He knew what he was about to do. It was a momentous event."

I doubt she was paying attention to any of that... maybe she knows some things, but I think the investigators have a lot better leads than Kristin Armstrong. No one can prove in a court of law if she remembers anything or not.

If my husband were planning to cheat in a bass fishing tournament, and passed his buddy illegal lures in front of me, I doubt I would be paying attention...:p

Um, yeah...
Fishing lures = Illegal Pharmaceuticals.

So, what your saying is that since you don't possess the knowledge to differentiate between legal and illegal fishing lures, Kristen Armstrong in turn shouldn't be expected to know the difference between ampules of legal drugs versus ampules of illegal drugs.

Got it.

No, I believe it is something else.

Bummer about the Bahati team. Hard to figure how they could continue... Wondering if it is budgetary or something else.

Also, US Tour of Missouri set to cancel? Not a big surprise, with the state of the US economy.

I guess we will need to wait for Dominquez to enlighten us.

I don't know, why do you?

I think Lance is guilty, always have, I'm not a Kool-Aid drinker... I just think going after his wife is not as productive as going after actual players actually involved in this game. She can easily "not recall" any of these things under oath, and also I'm just saying as a wife, she probably wasn't following the doings of Floyd Landis with great interest.

The ToM is not being canceled because of the economy... the Tour was KILLED by our arrogant jackass of a Governor who has a grudge against the Lt Gov, the man who brought the Tour here.

There has been huge support for this event, it has grown each year, all the host cities have been BEGGING to keep it, the state legislature APPROPRIATED the money, and the Gov is flat out refusing to spend the money, and refusing to even meet with anyone organizing the tour to even talk about it. He has openly mocked it.

The ROI was determined to be 38 million for the one million invested, but no dice. The Governor thinks it's more important to spend money on the 150th anniversary of the Pony Express. I'm sure all of you were planning a vacation to Missouri for THAT.

I was talking to a state rep the other day who told me even our Congressman has been pressuring for it... everyone wants the Tour except for Gov Jay Nixon, and he killed it.

Um, no, I was being facetious about the fact that she probably didn't give a **** what they were doing, and would conceivably be able to avoid answering questions about it in court...sorry if that was too hard to understand.

Susan

It's just an old joke from another forum...

And sorry, Bro, can't help ya.. incommunicado. He's in Oz as far as I know. Dropped by the FID once to say so, but I wasn't around then.

You honestly don't care if your husband is pumping himself full of drugs with needles and giving himself transfusions out of blood bags he stores in the fridge?!

Are you kidding me? I can't believe any woman would consent to having a child with any of them and the creepy stuff they do to themselves... my God, if my husband was ALSO seeing a gynecologist, yes, I would have a problem with that.

But I am not married to a pro cyclist. Yes, I think it's quite possible she didn't bother herself with the details of that stuff and ignored it if she could. Or maybe she knew every bit of it and followed his doping regimen on her calendar, and they saw Doc Ferrari together for a discount. I don't know. I'm ONLY saying she could easily plead ignorance and "not recalling."

For Pete's sake, it was one comment that she may not know enough to be an effective witness in court, or she could PRETEND not to know enough. I'll let y'all go back to your circle jerk now.
