Really hope that there isn't another cancellation. This season seems to be cursed regarding this.

I was actually looking forward to see Vingegård vs Tarling today.
His name is Vingegaard.

He starts 16:52.

According to the Road book, we can pick the winner of the Compativity Award (seemingly no prize money for it, but just the glory!) -
COMBATIVENESS AWARD. It rewards the rider who shows the most generous effort and the best sportsmanship. This prize is established only for on line stages. For the election of the most combative runner, a jury chaired by the general race director and made up of the technical race directors will designate the three runners who, in their opinion, have merited the daily prize. The public, through social networks, will vote by means of a telematic system among the three runners proposed by the Jury.

So if it doesn't count for GC, are they obliged to ride it? If so, to what purpose?
Will there be a cut-off time?
It would just be for whoever wants the UCI points/a nice win.

I don't get the clamour–it's just a compromise to allow the stage to occur in some form or shape (saving money and creating an admittedly very low level of drama) while also giving riders chance to soft pedal it and stay safe. There's quite clearly no good solution to this situation, it's just a case of least had option.

There's 90-100kmh gusts, the organisers are just trying to work out anyway to let the stage go ahead (for obvious reasons). This level of wind for a seafront TT is obviously very dangerous lol
LOL, thats incorrect.

Why are they allowing the riders to ride, if it is so "dangerous"?

Cancel the stage then, this solution that they went for is an absolute farce.
