Complete pi55 take.

We have known for long time that the UCI are completely incompetent, I have certainly now lost that tiny bit of faith that I may have had in CAS.

And on TV, while announcing this new delay, they just went through the story of his career, including showing footage of his brain hemorrhage in 2004, showing him lying on the road unconscious having an epileptic seizure

WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU SHOW THAT?????

Jesus.

Its not even about the long time it takes anymore, it is the constant delay upon delay. If you can't make your minds up in less then a year, then just say so. Instead we get this merry go round of excuses and "unfortunate" "unforeseeable" delays.

Cycling News today "...Recent questions surrounding the composition of the arbitration panel caused a delay in the decision process, which has now been pending for almost one year. "

When I first read of this I thought a small delay could reasonably be attributed to above reason. However given the considerable additional delay the above reason is specious and just not credible. There are, as yet unpublished, additional reason/s for the delay to 6 Feb. And the latest information allows for the possibility of further delay...

Disappointed CAS...Not Happy Jan!

Dear CAS, If your reasons for decision are as transparent as your explanations of delay, your reasons for decision will be as transparent as Yarra River water after heavy rain (as clear as mud).

I expect verdict some time after July..

I don't think anyone would bet against you.

intends to publish its decision in the arbitration procedure ... on Monday 6 February 2012. A confirmation as to the date and time of the publication of the decision will be given by the CAS at the end of this week.

So the 6th still isn't definite.

Apparently, CAS have a job vacancy:

>> LINK <<. No mention in there of the need to speak Spanish, or the need to be able to read a calendar correctly.

Daniel Benson says WADA will have a media symposium on the February the 7th.

1) Contador gets off, WADA introduces a threshold for clenbuterol...
2) Contador receives a ban, WADA introduces something new...

3, bonus) Coincidence after all, and business as usual. WADA is having a lame symposium, Contador case will be further delayed...

I think option 1 seems most likely !

Yet another delay and they even open up for the possibility of yet another delay again

So the question in my mind is: Have they aldry made the decision but have postponed the decision for other reasons (fx cos of WADAs media thingy the day after) or have they really not made the final decision?

If he's not suspended, his next race is at the Mallorca Challenge
