If the USADA's case was so dead solid and they were prepped to go to arbitration and let out all of this information...how come they can't get this stuff together and over to the UCI for review?

What kind of disorganization and nonsense is the USADA up to now? If you were ready to go to arbitration and let out all of the "secrets", it would have to be in a presentable format already for the people listening/reviewing the information on the board. So why can't they get this stuff together over 1 month later still?

This is my issue with the USADA this entire process. People around here claim how well run these guys are and what a great example. I say otherwise.

I wonder about insanity sometimes, I find religious people insane, alcoholics insane, and Lance Armstrong lovers clearly insane...backed up by that ridiculous statement. Brainwashed to the extreme without any substance to back up what you believe, sad really.

sad sport really. dwelling in the past. Tyler Hamilton, Landis, Betsy Andreu, all pathetic. What's BA's real motivation? What lurks in her mind? Intense hatred, but why?

I yearn for the days when the truth was reported. You know like the hump in Armstrong's back was because of his unusually large heart.

http://www1.umn.edu/news/features/2009/UR_CONTENT_123502.html

In addition to the high anaerobic threshold, Rhodes points out that Armstrong has a larger than normal heart "in a positive volume capacity." It may not be two or three times the size of the average human heart, as some suggest, but it definitely helps with intense exercise. "His ability to pump blood through his system, because of his heart size, is one of those astronomical things," Rhodes says.

"That's what separates the best from everybody else," Ingraham notes. "He has utilized every aspect of the sports science field, from the ergo-dynamics on his bike to the exercise physiology, to the sports psychology. He has maximized everything, including his own body composition, to be the best of the best."

The larger heart likely contributes to a hump in Armstrong's back, which, ironically, makes him more aerodynamic, Rhodes says.

You make a good point about the delay, but I think your conclusions are too speculative (at this point). An equally speculative reason for the delay is that USADA is processing a slew of new information.

It makes sense that a lot of scared people started coming forward once the Armstrong process started.

If new evidence does not explain the delay, then I think I'd be inclined to agree with you that something is wrong with this process. My guess, though, is that we are going to see some really interesting stuff in a little while.

"The past," as the term is used by the UCI establishment, may fairly be defined as:

Organized doping that has continued unabated for decades.

Simple really, look at what she is hating and why. If you even looked at the evidence you would know. But you wont because you dont want to believe the truth, therefore you are insane in your belief.

Maybe she did it for a Klondike bar.

Everything I've heard about her makes her sound like an upstanding citizen, someone you'd want for a friend and neighbor.

Lance Armstrong?..... not so much.

I am confident the UCI will appeal. They will base their appeal on Jurisdiction....and they will lose

If they're going to appeal, why limit the appeal to jurisdiction? Why not also appeal the sanction imposed for the "old" doping (>8 years)? Seems to me that's their better argument, anyway. If they lose on jurisdiction (as they should), then they could very well obtain a face-saving decision that wipes out sanction based on the "old" doped races.

I agree, but an SOL challenge still leaves a lot of years exposed. They are desperate.

Lets see what happens when they are implicated.

As for l'Equipe, don't expect anything ground breaking, but he will have a good interview. I don't think it will be on line but will try to post a copy

Can't see it happening. The UCI want this whole thing to disappear. They're not going to drag it on longer to save 5 for Lance. I just can't see them doing it.

Alas this is the UCi so anything is possible. Bad press doesn't worry them in the slightest.

I will add. The UCI's biggest problem has been saying NO to Lance. The more they allow him to infiltrate their lives the more things that go bad. Pat's best move would be to wash his hands of Lance but I'm not sure he can do that with Hein trying to keep the coverups covered.

there is also the possibility (remote) that Fat Pat throws Hein under the bus along with Lance, after all he started in 2006.

I'm not holding my breath

Pat has been cleaning up Hein's mess since he started.

In hindsight he never should have allowed the Lance to comeback. He's should have had the foresight to see how that was going to work out. We all could see it.

None the less McQuaid whilst not as dirty as Hein has done some dodgy dealing's of his own. Which will be revealed in time.
