Did you mean why? Or how?

IF you really meant why, it's because half the population will swallow your conclusions as fact, when they are patently misleading, misguided or downright false.

OK. I do not understand your comment about the data not relating to NAPR. I think I must not be understanding what you are saying.

The three points below ``Given these observations and conclusions........'' are my own thoughts based upon what I see - and are not contained in the data (as you have said), and could be omitted. However, they are not the conclusions, which are above it. Maybe that could be clarified, or they could be simply removed if that would ``decontaminate'' it and eliminate confusion to those reading.

You are the reason I began watching professional cycling and the reason I still support it to this day. I watched you drag yourself over every mountain they threw in front of you, both on the bike and off, and you never gave less than your all. You're an inspiration to millions of people who dream of being more and no one can ever take that away. Thank you Lance- You are my hero!

nyt reporting that two congressmen have submitted a bill for congress to have oversight over usada after the apparent railroading of armstrong.

man, it pays to be rich.

come on usada, the evidence has to hit the media in all its ugliness so that these clueless politicians and anyone else financially beholden to the fraud will finally see that the ship has most definitely sailed on the myth.

Just curious why many of you don't believe the UCI will take the reasoned USADA descion to CAS? To me it looks like the writing is on the wall when Pat says

“Except if the examination of the documents should reveal an important problem, the UCI has no intention of appealing (before the Court of Arbitration for Sport) but we need to check,” he said.

An important problem and the fact that Pat has publically called it a Witch hunt. What do you bet that ole patty finds a few problems in the file?

According to CN, UCI claim that they have tested Lance 215 times. (McQuaid: ""Armstrong claims to have done something in the region of up to 500 controls. I know for a fact that the UCI has done 215 of them. The other 280 were done by other agencies which could include USADA, WADA and AFLD.")

Dim has estimated the UCI tested him 145 times since 1999.

Can the UCI show us those tests to prove their so-called fact?

Just another example of the UCI being out of touch and buying into Lance's PR machine, or the UCI being complicit with Lance?

I would like the straight dope on this too (excuse the pun). I'm totally sick of L.A.'s fanboys chiming in unison, "Lance passed his 500-plus drug tests with flying colors."

I am confident the UCI will appeal. They will base their appeal on Jurisdiction....and they will lose

I am glad you are confident.

I am merely hopeful.

I suppose they are waiting for the evidence from USADA, but already have their arguments in line....
The process grinds on...and hopefully is eating Armstrong alive..bit by bit.

You really think he's sweating bullets? I tend to think he's taking it all in stride, knowing that he has enormous support on the inside as well as the outside. The guy is a smooth operator. I'll give him that.

I think he really wants you to think that he is a smooth operator.

This I agree with.

It's been documented by a few that he has "gone off the rails".

Doing things that you do in your 20's not 40s.

Why is that relevant? 300, 400, 500? Does it really matter. What will matter is the testimony presented by the USADA. If Hincapie comes out and says, 'yeah lance did everything they said he did' all the rest is moot. Everyone will believe Hincapie. USADA has made an error even mentioning the 2001 cover up in their charges, because it just ensures that UCI will fight to prove its not true, hence the Kimmage and Landis cases. They care more about looking good then protecting Lance.

You have a real har- er desire for Hincapie spilling the beans. Got something you want to share Jack?

Simple - he's one of the very few that both sides of this thing will be hard pressed to doubt, even if he admits doping.
