The vice president is campaigning and about to sign a graffiti/autograph wall at a fictional google-like company- is directed away by her staff from a space under a Ron Jeremy autograph, moves over to a blank space near an Armstrong autograph and is quickly pulled away in a rushed and embarrassed manner by her host, "we're having that erased" or sandblasted, or something. Quick and pointed. Wish I could find a clip.

Not sure point of LeMond's video. If it was to slag off Armstrong, it is stooping to Armstrong's level and I would've thought that LeMond was bigger and better than that.

A while back the trolls flooded this place with nonsense when George and Lance smeared Frankie in his hometown newspaper. The point was made that Lance got George involved and now George is realizing how stupid that was

“I asked Lance why George did that and Lance said he didn’t really know why.”

And yet Hincapie confirmed that it was indeed Lance Armstrong that put the pair in touch.

George called to apologize

In email correspondence, Frankie Andreu stated the following:

“As for the Detroit paper, George and Lance are out to smear me. Before everyone talked about themselves but recently they are talking about me. They are not speaking about others in the USADA report, just me.

“After the Detroit paper [article], George called me and we spoke. He apologized to me and said he shouldn’t have done the interview. I told him that I didn’t teach him how to dope and that he knew that was a flat out lie. He agreed he shouldn’t have said that.

“Lance put him up to it and it’s typical to try and discredit us because we have been outspoken and won’t back down to the never ending smear campaign.”

Interesting new interview with Hincapie. It turns out he didn't really apologize to Frankie. He clarified what he said, which is not that surprising given his remarks were being overinterpreted by trolls online. To be fair, if you took Hincapie's words in a highly literal fashion, you could conclude he was saying Frankie was the doping mastermind, but I think most people will have assumed what he meant was that Frankie was just a more experienced guy who was already doping and this had an effect on him. Which is true, isn't it? I think he is wise not to contact Betsy directly. She would simply spin his words again to further her own agenda.
