All the contenders were doping. Lance and the Posties were the best at it. Lance's downfall happened because he was unnecessarily cruel to his accomplices (and their spouses). Otherwise, he'd be just another suspect champion in a corrupt "sport."

.......who used a multimillion dollar charity for personal benefit.....and lied to kids dying of cancer.

This guy is in a league of his own.

Just a quick observation this morning. Interesting to me that the US justice system worked tirelessly to clean house in sports relatively few Americans truly give a flying little You-know-What about.

Except, that situation is pretty special. American-based organization and a bunch of Americans who are apparently taking bribes for much more than football. I'm hopeful many more sports are swept up.

Thom is smarter than this and the structure of USPS/USAC shows us this. He apparently wanted to win, not get rich. We know it amounts to a little more than a hobby too. So fixing races, doping, getting the federation to help you win. Winning!!!!

Though, the people running even a small budget like USAC are paid crazy good money.

Maybe in the tiny world of the Clinic, but that perception of lying and stealing is not shared in the real world.

He can still make me mad without even trying:

I’m not going to be sorry for certain things,” he said. “I’m going to be sorry for that person who was a believer, who was a fan, who supported me, who defended me, and ended up looking like a fool. I need to really be contrite and sorry about that. And I am. I’m more worried about Mary-Jane in Ohio, and Doug in Pennsylvania, or Liam in Birmingham, or wherever.

Hope he loses that $100M lawsuit.

Lance - just go away
1. You are banned for life - get over it
2. Stay away from any organized cycling event
3. You did not win 7 TDFs - you finished first by enhancing your performance with PEDs. That is not winning it is cheating.
4. Your views in the media (who for some strange reason still feel the need to talk to you) are arcane, vacuous and stupid. We don't care what you think about diddly.
5. You deceived hundreds of thousands of cancer patients about your ability as a cyclist. You gave them false hope.
6. You have ripped off Livestrong.org by charging them obscene appearance fees and expenses.
7. You have cheated and probably defrauded USPS.
8. You are a bully who defamed and tried to take down some very nice people
9. You are not contrite
10. You won't name names
11. You have only told a small portion of the truth
12. You are an arrogant, hubristic, egomaniac
13. You may have a major personality disorder
14. You are probably sociopathic and maybe psychopathic - I challenge you to take the Hare Test.
15. You are a serial cheater and liar

Please disappear to where the a$$h@le$ of the world disappear to.

Re: Official Lance Armstrong Thread: Part 3 (Post-Confession

So he keeps talking to Tygart, the man who took him down? ‘I’m not done talking to Travis, I’ll tell you that,’ he says. But he wants fresh evidence? ‘If we don’t know it by now then I missed it, between 10 books and three movies,’ he says, a little exasperated. ‘At this point, after a federal investigation, a criminal investigation, a civil investigation, a federal agency, the threat of perjury and jail, an anti-doping agency threatening lifetime bans, books — trust me, it’s all there.

Hahahahahahahahaha, you can't make this up. He's actually lying here yet AGAIN.

‘I came through on my end with the CIRC report. I said I would be the first man in the door, I did it, went twice, answered every question I could.’

LOL! he did? News to several, when was this?

But does he continue to protect those who were closest to him? The team managers, the doctors, the financial backers. ‘If the question gets asked, I’m going to answer the question, whether it’s to him (Tygart) or in the federal case,’ he says.

Umm, hey d*&^% bag, they've asked you a few times about Thom and McQuack and others, and you never said a word.

Lance never protects anyone but his own ego and sense of self. one could criticise his sense of self and introspection, as deluded or insane or pathological. if he is protecting stapleton or weisel it.is politically motivated, quintessence of expedience, for his own benefit, and own benefit ownly.

like the flowers bouquet from his daughter at the end of the triathlon

okay, Genius, who is then?

For a few minutes, Rosie Ruiz was. The Black Sox were huge. European football cheats are up there.
dunno who Rosie is,
nor much about the Black Sox...
not sure any European footballers have won suspicious champions league titles 7 times, or are world-wide household names from this...

I'd still like to know who monkeymouth things is a bigger sporting fraud than he is.

Don't want to spoil the joy for you of learning about Rosie and the 'Black' Sox, and encourage you to look them up.

Agree completely with your question for monkeymouth.

Dave.

chicago whitsox are hard to top, yep. armstrong only did what the others do, chicago throwing the world series... cant compete.

context tho, second decade of the C20, baseball not yet America's game, not sport was America's game it required the twentieth century to forge that title, or the first half of the century... amazingly, forging it, in wake of whitesox scandal. how many peeps in the US then? 120mill? at 1900 numbers?

everyone doped before Armstrong, everyone dopes after Armstrong, no one who competed against Prance thought he cheated them...

naah, that's cool. I'm sure they're big within the world of the US, but to be the "biggest" in "the history of sport" would mean some world-wide notoriety.
You know, like having several million cancer victims, survivors and their friends n families the world over cheering for you...

I've heard of the White Sox and the Red Sox, but the former was from 'Field of Dreams' and the latter from 'Cheers'... ;)

Sorry for being very much behind the curve but how are we doing with the SCA / Bob Hamman case? Last I heard Team Lance had lost at the arbitration panel.

I assume Team Lance has not handed over 1 cent of the 10 million awarded.

Could someone provide a 2-line update. Thanks.

Lance Armstrong is a big fat idiot.

...and a complete **** (proof below, admits he was and he did not change since then)

While apologising for certain behaviour during his professional career, Armstrong admitted in the interview with the AFP journalists he was "a complete **** for a long time".

hmm, and now he can sue CN for censoring one of the few true statements in his entire life (**** = di ck, d|ck, dic k, d ick, whatever goes through)
