But LA has already been sanctioned by USADA. Its done.
What LA is now attempting is to get some relief on that by co-operating.

USADA want it all, and under oath. I expect he will be using these 2 weeks to sort out any criminal fallout and hoping to do a deal.

The reality that he will not be rich forever is settling in on old Wonderboy.

I found all that talk around here over the past few months about how much money he has, and how easily he could weather this a bit amusing. Money on paper isn't real, and attorney bills are. Not to mention supporting his extensive family. The numbers are starting to get real.

More likely his folks got Birotte to say nothing's happening so that they could use that as leverage in closing hour negotiations with USADA about what Mr. Armstrong should get for "cooperating." But, oops, Birotte's comments yesterday triggered parts of the U.S. government with ongoing investigations to fess up. USADA won't step on the toes of any criminal investigation. They can't. So he's back to fighting on three publicly known fronts in the US alone. Improving his USADA ban barely makes it to his new list of worries. A long 24 hours.

Does this top his $75m day?

Just trying to keep count.

Waiting until the last minute is the ploy of someone dying to maintain control. They weren't going to tell him when the deadline was, nobody tells Lance ****ing Armstrong where and when to be somewhere. The rules weren't made for him. He controls all...

SSDD.

He controls all... and if anyone really believes he is planning to cooperate fully with USADA (or WADA for that matter) and actually assist in cleaning up cycling, they just simply haven't being paying attention.

The good news is that clearly Lancey-poos reputation has no chance of being resurected from the depths. None.

Cracks in the dam?? This is an ESPN writer, so the anti-doping sentiment is getting out there. I think the pro sports leagues in the U.S. will have a problem with even questioning the athlete, so he could face consequences if he speaks any more directly.

I was happy to read the article, especially this tidbit:

When Lance clinched the ESPY for "Most Pompous and Unapologetic *******" on Oprah's show a few weeks ago...

armstrong is now fulfilling his most appropriate role, the bringer of doping awareness. All other pro sports have a long way to go to catch up to the truthful realizations that us cycling fans have obtained years ago.

It's nice to hear a journalist saying everybody should be questioning unreasonable performances although it is very rarely done. Can't blame them though, there's even cycling HIS(Head In Sand)ers that don't want to question an athletic performance because they share the same nationality or some other such nonsense.

Thanks for the link Dirty

Oh my...

I don't want to get banned for this but in the manifesto posted by Chris Dorner, the ex LAPD cop who, most unfortunately, really is on a vendetta, he wrote the following:

Cyclist, I have no problem sharing the road with you. But, at least go the ****ing speed limit posted or get off the road!!! That is a feasible request. Livestrong you fraudulent *******s.

I bring this up only because, by all accounts, Mr. Dorner is not a cyclist, yet in his diatribe he takes the time to bring this up.

Weird. Sad.

http://www.texasmonthly.com/story/man-who-fell-earth

narcissist, a sociopath, a ****** bag

“The stain’s not going away—my girls will grow into it. My two little ones will grow into it. This stain will live forever. I’ll never get rid of it.

he demanded the forcible reassignment of a woman who refused to allow him access to the VIP area at the music venue the Backyard
Lance denies this story, as he denies most of these stories (such as the one about trying to get a TV cameraman fired after he asked for an autograph),

He also says now that the way he treated people wasn’t so bad. “I prefer the word ‘defiance’ to ‘bullying,’ ” he told me, “but I’m sure there was some. I used that word a lot in the interview. That might be something I’d say less now. I don’t think those situations have been accurately portrayed. The facts are out there. People can decide.”
I can see he's totally changed.

I did not expect him too. This article is all part of the PR campaign to get him back out there. He is aiming for the flawed hero story.

His only regret is getting caught and I bet he would do it all again. The only difference is he would've given Floyd a job.

I don't expect him to change for real, but I'd have expected him to have learned to control the message a bit better by now. It just shows how full of it he really is. He still feels he is above all this crap.

And yes, FGL. Not normal. Lancc Armstrong. My eyes hurt.
