Yes, Armstrong was/is(?) a really ****ty character, criminal most likely, but he didn't force a needle into Ullrich's arm.

Really difficult to judge it on a sporting level only.

Agreed, sincerely, Ullrich was a doper. And, as some of the facts are revealed, it just starts to sculpt a view of what the sport was in reality. It's a mess.

I don't think there can or should ever be a consensus of opinion about the past.

You guys'll love this.

Just had to replace my hard drive, so I lost all my auto-save passwords. I've (of course) forgotten every password I had, so I have to reset them all using the forgotten password links on every site.

When I did so on CN, I was asked a random question to confirm that I wasn't a bot. The question was "Has Lance Armstrong ever won the Tour de France?" I confidently replied "No." My application for a new password was rejected; instead, I was given the following response (paraphrased):

"The answer provided for the random question is incorrect."

Apparently Armstrong has won the Tour. :cool:

You can only know this. You can't know.

Personally, my opinion is that nearly everyone cheated but the numbers are so overwhelming that we'll never know the clean ones.

The clean ones are the ones who's names were not mentioned during Tour coverage because they were not racing there.
