I am sure this has been hashed and rehashed but...

Curious about Armstrong's doping techniques, how he used to kind of coast into the season and then take the month of June for building. Was this a product of his bodies physiology as a "high responder" to doping products? I am not saying Wiggo/Froome/Contador are clean now but their's been a general acceptance of building earlier in the year and running it into the Tour. Yet Andy Schleck and Armstrong seemed to joy ride the months of March-April-May (mid-may or so, especially LA 2009-2010) and then ramp up dramatically for the month of June. Were those guys just high responders to doping products and didn't feel the need to base like Contador/Wiggins/Froome etc? I can remember watching Lance place 55th on the Gila Monster back in 2010 and remember thinking (especially in light of today's techniques) how the hell can he do stuff like this? And is it possible those high responders are actually the guys that really couldn't have competed otherwise as seen in their non-juiced up early season races?

There is a fair amount of information on this. Perhaps Tyler Hamilton's book would be helpful.

Bottom line, all year. What you perceived as 'joy-riding' may have aligned with changing cycles and/or extraction timelines.

Lance always claimed to train harder than anyone, so joy-riding might not have fit into his training regime. Odd performances in the spring, though, are extraction telltales.

Dave.

Don't upset the Feds

"The government has noticed the deposition of Lance Armstrong and third parties while simultaneously refusing to produce documents relevant to those depositions," Armstrong's attorneys wrote in a court filing this week. "Litigation is not `a game of blind man's bluff.'

Very happy to see some of the clowns that were part of Armstrong's circus are getting dragged into this.

Carmichael is the last to be deposed....in best Sgt. Schultz "I know NOTHING!"
Be interesting to hear that after all of his profiteering from his "expertise". As for the Nike gal...she's paid to be what she is. Move upstream for true culprits.

No, Carmichael is just the last of the first batch.

I see they included Laura Prather Ex-Wife of Bill Stapleton. Funny stuff

Fixed that.

Not saying one sponsor was more or less culpable than another, if at all culpable, but just to get the reference correct.

Anyone know what will happen to non-americans who fail to show? Will they be arrested upon entry to the states in the future?

The sad thing is Comical might not know much if they ask him the wrong questions.

Now that things are getting real at the Federal level, maybe we'll have something sufficient to get some more prosecutions going. Something that is desperately needed.

I sure hope uncle Billy didn't jam her in the divorce proceedings.

On second thought, I hope he did.

Unlikely criminal prosecutions will spawn from this. The 5th Amendment is powerful ju ju.

I betcha all sorts of knowledgeable people are suggesting lines of questioning to them. It's gotta make Lance testicularly nervous.

What if somebody, like Stephanie or Kevin, lied to the Grand Jury?

You mean...you mean...what if Lance really did call Betsy fat? And Kevin has a recording of Stephanie and Lance talking about it?

If they lied to the grand jury, then they'd be idiots not to take the Fifth when asked the same question in a civil case.

If Lance lied to the grand jury, then he's between a rock and a hard place now.
