However If making personal comments about his ability to bed younger, legal aged consenting woman is meant to compound the disdain i have to tell you its having the opposite effect on me personally. I am even starting to like him a bit. JV is trying to race a clean team(putting aside the endless conspiracies), maybe another rider he is not an adjoined twin with, will test positive?? Possible No?Could anyone on this thread run a cycling team and guarantee never a positive?
The big issue that a lot of people here are in-delicately insinuating is that JV asked for a lot of trust. He asks sponsors and to fans trust that he is running a clean team. He claims that he trusts his riders.
Now who in the world would trust TD? His wife(wives) can't. His competitors don't. His teammates don't. NOBODY TRUSTS TD...about anything!!!! Except JV.
JV put his reputation on the line for TD and it completely and totally blew up in his face. Just like everyone said it would.
Sorry, correction, JV sold slipstream on being clean, because he had an internal testings system costing half a million a year to make sure his riders were clean. JV lied. JV has lied a lot.
JV has no reputation. No one in cycling has a reputation. JV like Armstrong has shown nothing but complete disdain for fans.
You know how often your posts come off as completely absurd?
Just because they have a testing program, should it be so ridiculously costly to the point that they are taking samples before and after every race/stage of every team member? The costs of testing is around $500-700/per sample using a WADA certified lab and process. So, it would cost them $10K+ for each stage of a race just to test their guys. Heck, even if they only testing after or before the stage, it would run them nearly $5-6K per stage/race???
Yeah...all teams, including Garmin would be broke in no time trying to support that theory. Unless you have a massive amount funds of hundreds in the hundreds of millions you are willing to put up, like universities and an endowment, to take care of testing every single rider every day of their careers to ensure they don't dope.
Guys are allowed to leave/go home, train on their own. It is expected. They don't live on a bus under the noses and surveillance of cameras, managers etc 24/7/365. It is absolutely impossible with manpower and money in the sport to be able to perform what it would really take to ensure 100% cleanliness.
So to continually make this assertion that it is completely possible for a team to have a method in place to catch any and all doping activities of their riders is absurdity at its best as it relates to JV/Garmin.
I guess since you think that is possible though, how about another reality check and deal with stuff on this planet that is really important. Why don't we deal with real social issues and resolve those, since it is so simple in your mind. Homelessness, drunken driving and any and all crime for that matter? That list goes on and on of things that are more important on the planet, than JV/Lance and some guys that dope.
Get a grip.
