Kinda like the all the people who thought the earth was flat, and the center of the universe.

Common attitudes.
The vast majority.

Except that the earth is NOT flat.
And Lance DID dope.

The common attitude is "who cares - he doped"
The earth is not flat. Lance doped. Big deal.

Polish, my dear, you are missing the most relevant point.

Whether LA doped is of interest but not critical to the outcome of the expected trial.

It is whether the US Postal team in 2002-2004 doped in breach of the contract with USPS.

Lancie's only defense against a finding that the team doped, and breached numerous Federal laws in doing so (tax evasion, money laundering, etc), is that he had no control in the team ownership and management.

That is why his first retort when Floyd's allegations were aired about team doping during the critical 2002-2004 years he (falsely) declared he was only a mere employee of the team, was not a shareholder in Tailwind, and was not a director.

Control freak LA in servitude and subordinate to others?

Who thinks the world not being flat is a big deal?
Are they the same people who think Lance doped is a big deal?
That may explain some things yikes.

Polish,

What then do you think is a big deal? You're infatuated with responding to most posts with tangential fanciful comments, in the doping section of a cycling Forum. Why are you wasting your sophisticated mind on such a specific arena, where you seem to have no interest in talking about the biggest doper of all time?

Please enlighten us with an answer more than something like..."patty cake patty cake ..."

Did I recall correctly that you own a bike store, or work in a bike store? If LA doping is not such a big deal I have a challenge for you. I will pay for a sign that you can post in front of your store saying "Lance Cheated, who cares!". If it really is of no significance to anyone then accept my offer and post the sign. You won't because it does matter and your business will suffer. No need to respond, you're avoidance tactics are well documented.

You find it as big of a deal as anyone else here. Again, if you send me $100 and agree to call me "esquire" or alternately "counselor" I will hip you to the info you seem blinded to see lol.

Biggest doper of all time?
Lance?
Please do some research. Lance is not even in the Top100.

But I will take you up on your offer to pay for the sign.
PM me your credit card number.
Thanks.

Idiot post of the year, which says something, being able to actually point to one particular Polish post and say "Yes, this one stands above all others in its' sheer and utter stupidity".

And thank you mods for allowing this to go on.

oh ho, well if that isn't straight out of the public strategies handbook.

Armstrong's career is history, 7 TdF wins straight.

His history officially is currently that, but anyone who can read and has a even small brain (hello Polish) knows the guy's a cheat. History will be rewritten on his career. He will be shown to be the dirtiest cyclist that ever threw his leg over a bike. He will be portrayed as a doper who made his team dope, who bribed an International Federation, and there is the possibility he bribed a laboratory official but definitely found out how to beat testing procedures......... that is just some of the rewriting that will be penned .

History you say, it aint finished with Armstrong and that is just his cycling career.

:)

It would flow from GJ indictments and trial of Lance Edward Armstrong & others as a separate proceeding, wouldn't it?

My guess is that the Feds may be looking to recover all the sponsorship money paid by USPS to Tailwind in 2002-2004 through the Tailwind shareholders and directors as Tailwind is allegedly defunct.

Floyd as a whistleblower would share in that recovery plus a share of any monetary fines imposed.

Focus Polish, you've taken four words out of my last post,... avoidance tactics, impish logic...fail.

How about you send me your bike shop address, so I know where to UPS the sign I am making for you? I don't want you to struggle with all those digits on the credit card. You don't have to PM the address I'm sure knowing where you work doesn't matter either.

Any response from you other than your bike store address will once again show your deviance.

Yes. Weisel, Lance, Knaggs, and a few others have received letters notifying them that they are targets of the investigation.

Qui Tam suits are often done very quietly. The thing to look for is if the Government "Joins" Floyd's case. If they do Lance, and others, are in serious trouble. Given the facts of the case I would be very surprised if the Government did not join the case.

Again, why?
There is no need to make anything up about him - his career long doping and fraudulent activities are more than enough to upset people who feign neutrality
in to defending him or trying to bring things off topic.

Herr Doktor Maserati. Enough with the "off topic," eh? This thread is dominated by less than a dozen posters? Of that dozen, you have accused at least three or four of bringing the thread off topic. Does that leave the remaining few (including you) as the sole deciders of what is an appropriate topic? What is the topic, anyway (other than the chamois-sniffing 'what is He doing now' variety)?

If something ever happens in a case or investigation, I'm right with you on topical focus. But now, when nothing is happening, aren't you just asserting that Lance hate is "on topic" and LanceLove® is "off topic?"

As Sam Kinison once memorably said: "Say it!"

That's interesting. If all Lance has received is a letter, then Floyd must not have sued him personally.

No - I am not.

If you took the time to actually read what I wrote in reply to 9000ft you will see that I was on about actually making stuff up (which they suggest).
Which appears to be what the rest of your post is, off topic and making things up.

It really isn't stupid. It just asserts that LanceHate and LanceLove® are just value judgments that each individual must make. Take Merckx, for example. He was raised in pro cycling's culture. And not too many people know more about the state of modern cycling than him. And he's no chamois sniffer; he is the Man. And Merckx has known Lance for a long time and has been his friend for a long time.

You can't simply dismiss LanceLove® as something "utterly stupid." There is a dynamic to LanceLove® that is really very powerful. Better to try to understand why LanceLove® is so prevalent (like a disease), than to wail for its censorship.

And it is not just Lance with the "yes he doped, but"
It is very common...

"Yes Evgeni doped, but he's such a pretty rider..."
"Yes, Joop doped, but it was for health reasons..."
'Yes Alberto doped, but bang bang bang bang....."

"yes he doped. but...." is not a Lance thing.
Although Dr Maserati wants to believe it is.

But Lance WAS a much more awesome rider than the others, true.
And Lance was the MOST tested ever, true again.
I will give you guys that one. Or two.

But he does not have the "yes he doped, but..." cornered.
He shares that with thousands of others
