My sources tell me there's one more confession to come in the coming days.... watch this space. Hard times at the ranch.

My guess (I am sure I am way off, but it's still fun guessing)
1) Dave Zabriskie (thinks Lance is an a5s)
2) Tom Danielson (was part of the A team for a minute, but got pushed to the B/Cteam after all the injuries and poor showing. Or....he refused to be part of the "culture" which is why he couldn't keep up and therefor was pushed to the B team). This one though - he came late to the party.

I don't think Micheal Barry - he never/rarely was around the A team.

So my guess is Z. Is it a rider or a DS? Where has Yates been in all this? I haven't checked his website since last year

Kevin Livingston might be a guy with a whole lot of info.

Problem with Kevin is that LA is his landlord for his training business, PedalHard:

PedalHard

Seems unlikely that Livingston is still sitting in the Mellow Johnnys basement as if nothing ever happened, just waiting for the **** to hit the fan.

My money's on KL. It will be interesting to see if he repeats the story that JV was telling FA (or was it the other way round?) in that SMS (MSN?) conversation, i.e. that Ulle was not blood doping when he rode for him in 2001 with his 42% hematocrit and that LA had forced them into doping by telling them everyone else was.

Subpoena's and the risk of perjury in a federal court are amazing motivators for spilling one's guts :) But because KL was and is so close to Armstrong that he must be near the top of the fed's list of people to have a little chat with.

didn't want to start a new thread, so i thought this might fit here. wetzel's latest is an abomination and typical of the journalists who still haven't bothered to see the entire picture or research the history. he acts like all armstrong did was cheat other riders who were already cheating themselves. no mention of the active destruction of innocent people's lives, etc...

http://sports.yahoo.com/top/feedback?author=Dan+Wetzel

i was moved to write him:

I have to disagree with you on Armstrong. He is the worst cheat and fraud in the history of sports. He has actively tried to destroy the lives of anyone who simply told the truth. The only reason he has survived is because he has been able to hide behind the whole cancer thing which he doesn't hesitate to use for his own benefit. I have followed cycling since I grew up in Belgium and Italy in the 1970s. Armstrong's only legacy is one of deceit and the destruction of the lives of innocent people and true heroes such as Betsy Andreu and Greg Lemond, along with the destruction of a fantastic sport. I recommend that you do some real research into the longstanding "allegations" against him so that you don't become just another main stream American journalist who really knows nothing about what has gone on. Armstrong's whole "popularity" and "fame" rests solely on ill-gotten gains. He doped. He hired the best doping doctor (who's speciality is blood -- seriously!). And he likely bribed the governing body of cycling (which is also to blame) to achieve what he has "achieved" -- all of which he is completely undeserving. It does no good to cancer patients that the man who has put himself up as their champion is nothing but the worst of frauds and it does no good when journalists promote the notion that cheating (in the worst of ways) and justice ultimately don't matter.

The thing is - it's Wetzel - he is the most rah-rah-USA-USA hack out there. Basically, he's been fawning over Armstrong for years. Now the problem is that he can't admit he is wrong, so he just plays the cancer card.

I'm pretty sure the claims made about what Armstrong has done for cancer could be fairly easily challenged.

I wonder how much the Armstrong camp paid Wetzel to write that.

That said - it is no worse than the sort of guff that Freibe and Benson have been coming out with for years.

I don't disagree. My point was that if KL has already testified to the GJ, I'm really surprised that LA hasn't found out, what with the guy working in his basement.

If KL hasn't yet testified, and knowing how that testimony will be met by LA, I'm equally surprised that KL hasn't come up with a BS excuse to vacate the premises (needs more space, whatever).

Seems to me, the second LA finds out, KL will find all his stuff on its way to a landfill and all the locks at Mellow Johnny's changed overnight.

There is zero chance he will spend 2 minutes in the same building with LA once the cat is out of the bag.

Interesting bit about LA's lawyers approaching TH for a joint defense.
Do they think this is only about doping to win a bike race?
Hopefully they're as clueless as their strategy indicates.

Also interesting that TH is being represented by one of Michael Ball's lawyers, given that he's the one who sparked this whole investigation with his gf's immigration issues.

Add another charge to LAs long but distinguished list:

"potential charges that include defrauding the US government, drug trafficking, acting as a physician without a license, endangering public health, and money laundering. Several government agencies are purported to be involved in the investigation in addition to the FDA including the FBI and IRS."

ESPN commentary piece that pretty much gets it, IMO:

Yes very good this part most poignant;

"Let's be clear. He's not a fraud for turning himself into a two-wheeled pharmacy; he's a fraud for crafting and profiting from an image that was the antithesis of the stereotypical drug-fueled cyclist. He's a fraud because he so vociferously attacked those who suggested his triumphs were aided by something stronger than pure alpine air."

Kevin has already testified in front of the GJ

Armstrong and his lawyers know he is screwed. What we see now is bluff and posturing. Eventually he will work a plea deal

PatrickChasse For @l'équipe, 2 EPO controls "border line" for Armstrong: T. of Switzerland 2001 (Lausanne Lab) and... Dauphiné 2002 (Chatenay Lab) #doping

Interesting - bolded. I knew there would be more. This would mean Armstrong has tested positive about 10 times in his career!

I feel sorry for every mid-pack hack cyclist who's tested positive and blackballed from the sport.

I sense the wolves are circling. This information is going to start dripping out... bit by bit.
