BTW, real fast track... the leadin g jumper is at 8.06 meters, just one meter less than in 1968

Yeah, they put all the effort into the running track and forgot about the long jump run-up:)

LOL. They only invest in events that might bring a record. ;)

So i guess the next busted athlete is an obscure triple jumper or long jumper who barely makes 8 meters....

I had to roll my eyes at the cheer the home cheat got in the 400 meters.

I felt the same......but I'd guess most of the home crowd are clueless about Christine OwhereamInow.
Then, I took consolation in all those nice, clean 100 metre ladies.:p

They were meant to build a 2000m mountain to stick the run up on?

LOL. Then go back to 1936. It´s sea level... The guy winning was only 10 cm short of silver in 2012.

To take in context: the same guy ran a 10.3 in winning the 100-Final. That´s around 10.46 for electronic timing. Not good for Top-1000 in 2012.

Hope you get the point and it´s to your liking. :p

Somebody take a look at this Salazar dude in the US. The 2 guys he trains just destroyed the Etheopians.

So now the brits and yankees blowing away the competition versus the Kenyans and the etiophians. In the same hour as Jessica Ennis in the hepthathlon. Who saw that coming?

I guess "Marginal gains" is a widespread phenomenom. And as long as they have a "helping hand"....

The last time a white guy won a medal in the 10K in either Olympics or World Champs was in 1988 I think (unless I missed someone).

Ennis is defending Olympic champion and favourite for the event, and Mo Farrah has been the favourite for this for a while now, World Champ at 5k and World silver at 10k. plus he is Sommalian born. Just because you haven't heard of them doesn't mean they aren't world class athletes

Meh. Race Favourite in shock win headline.
It was a 400 metre sprint off a modest pace.
Besides, Mo is their next door neighbour.

I'm suprised the GB long jumper hasn't been tagged yet.
8 metres 31 is huge.

Lots of talk about hypocrisy, but I bet the women 100 metre runners won't get as much stick.

good pick... the alien won
Leading Alien 1 won from Aliens 2 and 3.....
...obviously aliens. They don't appear to have to breath London air. (no bad thing)

Only an all comers record. Definitely clean.

Christ you are a moron. Just because you, as ignorant as you clearly are, haven't heard of them doesn't mean they aren't world class athletes

I love it when people complain about other peoples ignorance, while being wrong themselves.
