Humm... look at how Saxo Bank go off the front and the gap open up by 45 seconds in 2k's - kinda shows how much work they are doing.

Pity Jens and Kurt aren't still there to help out ...

From VN live feed

It's blowing so hard up top that organizers have cancelled plans to shuttle Contador off the mountain by helicopter to attend a post-stage press conference in Vaison-sur-Roman, 30km away.

I am just SO grateful that I don't have to watch the coverage you guys get. I saw a brief bit of P&P a few days ago and they were, well, excruciating to listen to.

Yeah, just rub it in all the way from amsterdam! ;)

There goes the firetrucks. First time I have seen riders meeting traffic. The peloton needs to be careful.

Got to pack them for our "Commercial Free Hour, sponsored by Chrysler" as Phil will continually tell us. I'm also watching VS online. No commercials and no "interest Stories."

Ha, just heard Paul sherwen say the most hilarious thing.

"He coming in now to drop his load....(slight pause)....into the eye of the storm."

He was actually talking about the fire, but i found it hilarious.:D

Sorry if that was rude but thought it was worth sharing

Half the crap is not even commercials. It is often montages of Armstrong or other special "features." Then there are the ads for the Tour de France itself, the very show you are watching. You would think that they would not have to advertise for a program you are already viewing, but noooo.

I've been in Europe about 6 weeks this year. Watching the Dauphine and a week of the Giro on Eurosport was a pleasure, even if it was in Finnish. I hate this US crap coverage.

I just love the way Paul speaks so many languages but still feels the need to make up 'English' words!

Don't forget the ads for all their other shows. Is there any cycling fan who's also watching wrestling, or all the other crap they're broadcasting?

Probably a half hour to crown the new champ and apologize for Armstrong.
