I agree with both sides. George, perhaps, should have just gone all out for 3K and tried to save time. But......Columbia should not have pegged the final 2K! Cav could have sat on Hushovd and sprinted against him, and what on earth was Astana and Garmin doing?!?!?!? Farrar didn't even contest the sprint!
Now we can sum up Garmin's season in two stages: the opening TTT at the Giro, and f--king Columbia in stage 14 of the Tour.

Yeah, I mean, they did pull for an entire kilometer, Astana only pulled for 2 hours

Astana pulling for 2 hours? They were taking it very easy. I wouldnt call that pulling.

Again, I think Columbia deserved the kick in the teeth. You put "The Worlds Greatest Cycling Team" on your bus, you will get no leeway from anyone, and rightfully so. Go cry in your beer guys.

Poor George! I think Astana had to pick up the pace on that little hill for a while to keep other attacks from coming and then sat up but Garmin? George should have tried harder in the last few k but I think he was out of gas.

I know, but they spent months saying that was the highlight of their season. I guess this is their second highlight.

Cav has frequently trash-talked Garmin, and Lance has, on at least one occasion, said "Yeah, what Cav said." So, not surprised to see people like Dave Z pulling hard at the front.

Oh, musettte's got her panties in a wad.

Why, oh, why can't every love Armstrong as much as she does. Life is so unfair.

Cav's been relegated for not keeping his line.

Looks like a Whine party tonight for Columbia.

Yea, he moved right at the very end blocking Thor. I enjoyed the end of that stage as much as any in the tour.

Fact is, George should have ridden harder if he wanted to win. "No gifts" I think someone once said; well, no gifts indeed.

LMAO.

A shame that GH didn't get the jersey, never liked the guy, but he deserved to wear Maillot Jaune.

He didn't deserve anything. Cav was asked what the others needed to do to beat him a couple of days ago and he said something to the effect of "Cross the line before I do." Well, if George wanted the yellow, he should have ridden 7 seconds faster than he did. End of story.
